Title: Perception filter changes

The mind is a fantastic thing the way it can fill in blanks and even warp our perception of what is really there to create the reality we expect to see.
As time rolls by I find that when I look at any other woman my brain is analysing their facial features with many receiving a higher masculine score than before. Also a fun game to manually interpret faces as male or female being able to see them as either regardless of what they are. Pushing them from one side to the other in your mind.
Been chewing it over for a while but think what I may be registering as masculine may simply be commonalities with myself. Ultimately, I am seeing them being more like me than registering what I consider to be the slim possibility of that I am growing to resemble them.
An interesting and yet hopeful thought which had me wonder if anyone had a similar experience.

I do this thing all the time--when I'll stare/look at someone for a long time as their gender identity fluctuates between the ends of the spectrum. For almost EVERYONE I do this to I can "make" them trans in my head, even if I'm almost certain they are cis. It just brings light to the fact that gender is non binary and can easily fluxuate.

It's hard not to laugh when doing it as results can be pretty funny at times. (yeah I laugh a lot now at silly things but I love it)
Good to know it's not just me though and reassuring that when you get to a certain point other people will do the rest for us without even knowing it.
