Title: Need an idea for my kids

I will soon be presenting as myself 100% of the time. I am looking for a suggestion from anyone who has found a solution to this issue. I have two accepting grown children. They are free to call me "Dad" or "Pop" if that is what they need to do. They have been very good about calling me" Moni" which is short for Monica. In this way they don't "out" me in public. The problem I can't figure out is how they introduce me. I feel weird asking them two say "These are my two Moms." I have told them that I am still their "Dad." "This is my Mom and ...?" I figure I would ask them, of course, but I hoped to have some ideas. I don't want them to be uncomfortable, but I don't want to be outed every time I am around my kids.

Depending on your wife's attitude about it they could go with, "This is my mom and her wife? spouse? partner? Moni.
I've known of some who, to avoid being outed, were introduced as an aunt.
And of course there is always just being callled Maddy.

My daughter says "this is my parent". It doesn't out me as trans, but it does indicate we have a non-traditional family.

Thank you ladies, you gave me some good ideas. Of course, my kids will decide what is best for them.

Dad and Jerri will be the options for my kids to call on me. They can introduce me in any way that makes them comfortable but will be keeping an eye on this thread for ideas to suggest to them.

So the jury is in. My sons will identify who I am as "my parent." It is good for me. Thanks for the input.
