Title: A chuckle today

I got mis-gendered today! Woo-hoo! ;D
To explain, I am pre-everything. My voice is a baritone. So I had to giggle when I answered the phone and the voice at the other end said, "Is that [wife's unambiguously girly name]?"
It was probably an honest mistake, one that I've made myself. After all, there's only so much intonation you can extract from the word "Hello", spoken over the phone. Or, looking on the positive side, maybe they didn't want to make assumptions based on voice alone, a rather trans-friendly attitude.
Either way, it was funny.
