I'm very excited. ;D I just made my 20 percent deposit for Dr. Suporn today. I'm scheduled for July 2017, so that gives me about a year to come up with the rest of it. Between a good income, being super thrify, and selling stuff on Craigslist this shouldn't be a problem.

I remember the day I made that deposit to my surgeon. I was buzzing with excitement for weeks after that.

Pretty much. Every so often something earlier opens up, but you need to constantly check the calendar at http://www.supornclinic.com/clients/calendar.htm Since I'm paying out of pocket and still saving up the money, I don't really want to move it any sooner.

They dont fit you in... its a waiting line. All surgery dates before that are already reserved by someone else. When somebody postpones or cancels and their date becomes available, they will mark it as available on the calendar. Then the first who asks for it gets the date.

Its required to send scanned copy of recommendation letter one month before surgery.

I already sent mine. I got it about 9 years ago and they said it was fine. Also, you need to bring the original with you when you go there.
