Title: I feel like I only post when I get scared or something, but...

In the past few weeks, I've noticed a big decrease in function downstairs, and it made me realize how much more afraid I was of losing something I have, than gaining something I don't know what will do to me.
To compound my fears, I've had a mishap in the OR nearly kill me as a teenager, altering my life forever, and as well, the first local trans woman I really talked to, had her surgery botched.
I'm contemplating asking my doctor to decrease my AA (Androcur) if not my estrogen (Estrace) as well...
I've felt REALLY out of whack since I switched to Androcur and had my first increase on the Estrace. Emotional, cloudy thoughts... I'm having second thoughts, but I don't think that I'll be able to tolerate myself if I stop.

Some people have serious problems with Androcur as it has some nasty side effects. If you have noticed a difference in the way you feel after starting it, have a talk with your doctor as soon as possible. This is a link to the side effects.

I'm taking androcur myself and it's a stronger anti-androgen than spiro.
It's quite normal to have decreased function down there taking those especially if you have for a little while already. Androcur can also affect your mood a bit negatively. As well as make it harder to concentrate and you get sleepy more easily.
Although everyone is different at first I also felt a little weird taking them, more fatigued stuff like that but now I am fine.
But like Dena said some people can't really deal with androcur well.
I do have to add though one of the biggest "dangers" you will read about androcur is that it is very heavy on the liver but do know that the medicine is often perscribed in much higher dosages for non trans people, most often the group they refer to (the ones with prostrate cancer for example)
I don't know how much you are taking though so decreasing it a tad might help. Personally I take 50 mg a day
Hope I could help :)

I'm taking a small dose as well, don't know if it can be decreased... but I'm having pain when tending to needs down there, almost like dehydrated which makes the whole experience undesirable.
I'm scared it's gonna come down to me deciding between bottom surgery, or having to let go of HRT...

It's normal with the decrease in erections.
If you can "exercise" it once a day, it should start to hurt less.
