Like people who havnt seen me since before hormones that havnt seen me since then. I feel like if the hormones r making me pass as female more n r suppose to change my looks that no one should be able to remember me on spot.

Hi Angélique,
Perhaps it's because you were pretty feminine looking before HRT?
Just an idea.
Paige :)

I agree. You are beautiful. From what I've seen in your before pics, you were very pretty to start with. Great genes!!! :-)
I've seen so many before and after pics and even the ones who have drastically changed, there's always that similarity between the previous face....sometimes I can't put my finger on it but you can see it.

This. Even after two years on HRT people are still likely to recognise your previous self. The people whose face changes significantly almost always have used surgery.

I know some of us say after so and so time that people from our past dont recognize us but that's not necessarily going to happen for all of us. Let alone someone that's only been on hrt for 6 months. That's like nothing in terms of time honestly. There's so many little factors that come into play if someone recognizes you or not. If hormones dramatically changed bone structure at any age then yeah I'd say we should be unrecognizable but it doesn't.
So I wouldn't be too hard on yourself Angelique. Unless you've dramatically changed your style of dress/appearance in general, its not going to be too hard for people to recognize you.

I've lived as female for the last 5 years and havnt changed my hair or anything so I guess since bone structure dosnt change then no matter how much my lower face gets thinner n my upper cheeks get bigger people will still recognize me.

Changing hair can definitely help if that's what you really want.

I've always had a resemblance to my sisters now I look more like them. My sister was telling me a story how a girl I knew , but didn't know her came up to her at school one day and asked if she was my sister . I use to hang out at the school because it was in my neighborhood growing up. You'd have to go through some heavy duty physical changes for someone you knew not to have the slightest Idea that there was some connection there.
