Title: Finally Full Time and High Stress of Doing So!

Starting from the 30th to 6th June 2016 I came out to: a.) Family b.) every coworker and boss at work I also individually revealed my story to each one c.) my political friends who are my wife friends and mine. There are now few people who don't know about me period. I promise you I am far from being perfectly passable but, I do get my ma'am s and doors opened for me occasionally. I took the approach it better to make my mistakes and get it out in the open. My anxiety would only build if I sat on the side lines. I have been told I am very courageous. Do I have an option really? I work hard to present as female as often as I can. I do correct pronouns when necessary. I had waitress call me sir after I requested her to not do it. I will keep improving myself as a women but, that road requires believing in myself. I am good enough and improving all the time. The road to success is littered with risk and mistakes. All being said I am glowing with new confidence. My bosses boss totally backs me and I backed by my coworkers. My wife's family with a very conservative mom took in stride. I am proud to be a TRANSGENDER WOMAN and very happy but, it is not always easy or cheap!😘💋

Sounds like you're off to a great start. The stresses should hopefully lessen with time.

Congrats! I took a slower approach to coming out, spreading it out over the course of a few months. I don't think I'd have the mental and emotional endurance to do it all at once like you did!
