Title: Delayed reactions - on my part
Post by: Denise on June 10, 2016, 08:47:32 AM
I don't know why but I'm really happy that the emotions I used to feel about coming out to people have stopped.

Here's the situation - When I came out to people about being MtF about 2 days later I would feel like crap.  I would get a depressed, scared, pick a negative emotion.  I think it was caused by taking one step down a road that I was unsure I should be taking and telling one more person was making it harder to stop (aka "save face").

But now, things are different.  After two weeks on E I'm sure that I'm on the right road and I seem to be doing much better after telling people. I'm actually looking forward to telling the people left I must tell; mom and dad (they are in their 80's) and work (which should be okay - tech dept at a bank)
