Dee and I had lunch today with our niece and her husband to pick up the family bassinet to transfer to another niece who is expecting. We were sitting in the living room talking before lunch and I asked my niece if her father (Dee's brother) had shown her the letter. She looked puzzled and asked what letter. Knowing how her dad is about communications, I had brought a copy along with me so I gave her and her husband the letter to read. When they finished both came over and hugged me and for the rest of the afternoon, she called me Aunt Bev and her husband just called me Bev. I knew in this case there shouldn't be a problem because my niece marched in the Pride Parade in the past with a group from the private school where she's the librarian. I LOVE my family!
