I'm the proud parent of a trans son. I'm really proud of him for coming out and expressing how he feels. Putting away the dresses and dressing like his true self is inspiring.
I've suffered in silence with dysphoria since I've been 4 years old. I hope the times we live in now will continue to develope and progress with greater acceptance so people don't have to suffer their entire life.

I'm the proud trans-parent of a seven year old step-child, a two and a half year old, and a one year old. Thank you for this post. I was feeling dysphoric on Mother's Day (because I've never associated myself as a mother, despite everyone I know referring to me as that) and again on Father's Day a bit (again cause nobody I know sees me as a guy).
