Title: HRT Thus Far

So far HRT has treated me very well in the emotional sense. I'm like just hitting my two month mark in a couple days here, but am still a little worried in the facial changes hehe.
(oh my gosh were about to go into that 6 page topic on facial changes!!! Haha moving on!!)
Anyways though, I was looking through my old pictures and found my senior picture from two years ago, and I still can't say much has changed from then. Hopefully within the next couple months something starts changing, so I can get that little bit of courage to take that first step outside :P
For the first time though, I was wondering if someone would please shred this to he** and tell me what stands out the most here please :) It's a little old, but still resembles much of what I look like, so I was just curious. . . what the heck stands out so much to you? As that's what I'm trying to figure out to see if there's anyway I can maybe like disguise it when I take that first step outside as my true self. Here you go. . . I'm not normally a big picture poster type of person, nor to I claim to ever be photogenic in any way haha.
EDIT: Removed pictures. Thanks everyone for the imput.

Strange as it may seem, the Face would appear to change last for many. HRT seems to work in spurts. I'm just about to finish the 5 mos mark and umm..well...I dunno. Not much has changed it would seem then I got up this morning and looked totally different. Others here I have talked to will testify to the same thing. Its like it is not working and staying stagnant then all of a sudden, WHAM. You get up one morning and look in the mirror and think....OMG. Give it time, at your age you should have NO problems and will probably start changing faster than you had orginally thought you would. I wouldnt worry about your jaw. Chin is a little long but you have a lot of fat on your face. Give HRT time to do its work.....you are young enough for major changes to happen.

Honestly I can't tell you. Its hard to see much wrong (though you are right the jaw can use some work).
Oh just to note, there is alot more variation in both male and female faces than people realize (or than Dr. O says). You have a structure that could probably be used for both, its just HRT needs to set in more. Facial changes are the slowest to happen.
You will not really notice changes a couple of months into it regarding your face. Its going to be three or four months before those changes start to happen, and looking at your face you will probably be pleasantly surprised.

Wow, I think you're going to do JUST fine! Geez, if you look that good *before* HRT...
Your features are soft, rounded... even your chin you say you don't like, the contour is rounded rather than square and male-ish.
And like Lori said, facial changes seem to come in bursts, and always when you've finally given up on it, lol. Every couple weeks I catch my wife staring at me...
"What? WHAT?" I demand.
"It happened again."
"What happened again?" I ask.
"You changed again. Overnight. It's so weird. And so amazing."
;)

Ha, I think in a year's time you'll be a Hot Babe. The jaw will not be a problem at all. The changes sneak up on you then one day you look in the mirror and you say who is that. No worries, You will not have any problems at all. Changes sort of take two months at a time to really notice.

I've got much more jaw than you with no prob.
Its the chin height and shape that's more important and yours is fine.

Well then,
Thanks for the assuring words of encouragement heh. Maybe I'm just paranoid or something :P Regardless though, we'll see what happens in the upcoming months I guess. Your replies were fun to read, and as for that overnight changing Kate, well I'm waiting haha :P
Anyways, thanks again everyone, hopefully it'll work out with time.

Hey --- my first take was --- Is Shane an FTM and wondering how masculine he could get? The name was masculine as I thought it might be a derivative of Shane. Also most MTF have feminine names on the board. So I look at your profile and it MTF and I said WTF! (Pardon my French) He already looks like a girl --- or at least an MTF that has been on HRT for a while!
I mean your shirt seems to suggest you have a chest ( small but still there ) and you are obviously trying to look boyish ( but then you were a boy at the time ), as it is long and full. Your cheeks look so round. Anyway I was Confused. Please forgive the mistake.
Do my comments help?
Could you show us your current picture?

If I had any current pictures yeah I guess I could share :P My hair is the only thing different. . . over the last two years I did a lot of random stuff to it including dying fohawks blah blah blah stuff like that. So now it's a little shorter and more darker. That's about the only change. . . but I guess if I can find any semi recent ones I'll post for the heck of it.

Hi Shanetastic
I agree with all the other girls here and your still Ace in my books. I believe that you started you transitioning just in time. If I had a face like yours I would throw away all my photos. I Told you the other day kid on another rather annoying person's thread that you were Ace in my books.

Even now you are so far into the middle I think you can PRESENT how ever you want.
I mean if you arch your brows you would be Mam'd all the time. How ever if you stick to BOY clothes ( without arching ) you would be perceived as a boy.
Good luck and Keep us in the loop..

Hi again shanetastic
I agree with Kat. I believe that with longer hair your face is not going to need much more altering and you are right there is so much more you can do with long hair. The longer hair itself will make a huge difference. Then there is the result of what the hormones will bring in the next few months.

Only when I smile you can!
And thanks cindy, this hair just needs to grow really right now haha. It takes forrreeevvverrr and I don't know what to do with it while it's growing. I don't really care so much right now, since it's sort of in the "blah" zone to me at least. But hopefully it will get to a decent length within the next couple of months.

Hi again shanetastic
Well I always liked longish hair and before I had even started full time 7 years ago it was already shoulder length. It's since grown down to mid back and I don't have any greys yet which again helps a lot to looking younger. I have a friend (GG) her name ic Carolyn, she lives on long island just a few miles from Montauk "hee, hee, hee." She said to me, to a woman her hair is her crowning glory, she has attractive red hair and she has a beautiful personality.

Things take time to change (and yeah, I'm repeating what everyone else says here). But yeah, you look cute. You'll just keep looking better and better.

Hey Natalie,
Thanks for the words of assurance :P And I'm glad you think I'm a cute guy haha.
And for Cindy!
Yes, the hair is something needed haha. I had a little problem with it a while ago. . . and lets just say I lost a lot of it haha. Mistake learned, and now it's slowly growing back. Even for my age though, this is taking a pretty long time. The only thing I'm glad of is that I don't have any receding hair or haven't lost any hair so phew to that.

Hi shanetastic
No I don't believe any one is exaggerating, you really are a cute kid and probably will be a knock out pretty girl as well. Good candidate for it to and it is lucky you made the decision before the testosterone goes any further in changing your body in the other direction. You will notice that the hormones will make your hair grow out much finer, softer and faster. I loved that part

And for what it's worth...I also don't see any prominent male features that could cause a problem. And the jaw on the 2nd pic is far less noticeable.
