Title: Will the breasts ever go away?

Okay so I was on anti-androgens for 10 months and estrogen for 3 months before I realised that this was just not what I wanted (I am completely okay with this realisation btw). The problem is I've had about 6 weeks worth of breast development and I would like to know if 1) the breasts will eventually go away, 2) how long would that take and 3) how long will it take for testosterone to kick back in seeing as how my next scheduled zoladex implant was next week. The breasts can't really be called an A cup but they're visible through snug t-shirts and hoodies if I lean back.

Hi
Welcome to Susan's :) Great to have you here - looking forward to seeing you around the forum.
It's hard to say yes or no for sure, every body is different and responds differently. I would suspect that in time, yes the breasts would go away, however the underlying glandular development you may have had in that time (causing change in nipple shape, etc) is unlikely to reverse. Any changes will take a few months since you were on HRT long enough for something to happen.

I've heard that doing push ups and weight lifting helps, especially doing the bench press will cause any remnants of breast growth to blend in if not disappear all together

Just curious, how did you come to this realization? I don't mean to prod.
I'm pre-HRT and it seems like everything is pushing me in that direction (to start HRT), even though I have a lot to lose.
One of my biggest worries is regret or not getting to a place where I could be happy mentally, physically and socially.

I stopped HRT once and mine never went away. They got a little smaller but what was there was permanent. Fortunately for me I was fine with that. Testosterone was back in full production pretty quickly. It was not more than a month or two at most.

Ms Grace what do you mean by glandular development? is that just size/texture?
Amber42 it's gonna sound kinda stupid but I woke up one morning after a few weeks of breast development and thought "do I really want this?" and I kept going for a few weeks before deciding I didn't actually want it. It's important to note that I didn't care about name changes or pronouns or gender presentation, it was all about how I felt about my body. I feel like I'm a pretty rare case in this situation.
Deborah how long did you stop HRT for?

I stopped for several years. They shrank some but were still kind of obvious in a tight t shirt. Maybe people thought I had big pecs or maybe they were just polite, but nobody ever said anything.
They did however comment on my hairless legs since that hair never did start growing again.

I've been on/off low dose HRT several times and each time my breasts filled out just a tad more. But I also started out a tad on the gynocomastic side and a former fatty. I never took note of them showing. Even today with an almost B cup. It's always been baggy clothes in guy mode for me since I was a kid
