The right-wing media is heavily reporting on a new "study" that purports to show that there is no evidence people are "born gay" or that trans identity is real. The only problem is, this isn't a study at all, and there are serious questions about its integrity. . . .
The journal is co-published by the conservative Ethics and Public Policy Center, which readily attests to applying "Judeo-Christian moral tradition to critical issues of public policy" on its website. . . .
However, it is also worth noting that the report is not peer reviewed. . . .
--------------------------------------------------
This report has been heavily reported on the past few days in all the conservative news sources. But, as this article very clearly lays out, it is simply preconceived propaganda.
You will not be surprised to learn that the author is none other than Dr. Paul R. McHugh.
* Reason #3 for Abandoning Conservatism: Their various ideologies rely largely on a misrepresentation or outright denial of established science.

It's really not surprising. Look at the conservative studies on Climate Change, they are a joke in the scientific community.

The results of the study is exactly what they paid for. Most research comes to the conclusion of what you want it to be. There is a saying: If you torture the data long enough it will tell what you want to hear.

I find it incredible that people actually believe and will cite this garbage. They'll believe anything that alligns with their narrow views.
I was going to ask how the 'scientists' that do these sorts of 'studies' sleep at night - but then I realised. They sleep on a big bed of dirty money.
