Title: DQ from HRT?
Post by: Artesia on September 04, 2016, 07:26:54 PM
Would a stent disqualify me from getting HRT?  I am still waiting on the VA to get my Endo appointment, it is being painfully slow in getting back to me.  They told me a while ago that they were going to refer me to them, and that they would call and schedule an appointment, but that in Indianapolis they have a bit of a wait due to volume.  The waiting is horrible.  However, I remembered that I have some other health issues; the worst of which is the stent; but gout, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure are also present.  Started worrying that one of these would stop this from going further.

I would think not. I know a few folks with bad hearts on HRT but only your endo can tell you for sure. Good luck, I have found the VA very helpful
