Title: hitting nerves
Post by: roseyfox on September 19, 2016, 07:05:38 AM
So while injecting today i guess i hit a nerve cause i was only half way in and it started hurting really really bad so i pulled it out and it actually bled a little. I want to stop the injection so bad and wait till tomorrow to try again but I  don't have the money to throw away perfectly good drugs. So i reinserted a little higher up and success found my muscle and injected successfully. guh it make my skin knowing i hit something i probably wasn't suppose to.

That will happen every so often, I wouldn't let it discourage you though. Key is you realize that spot this time didn't feel good and getting it out and picking another spot. Word of advice make sure the other spot was already cleaned with the swab or you will need to sterilize that spot before injecting again. Hugs

I find it easier to inject in the buttocks. I've injected at least a hundred times there and never experienced what you did but it does hurt a little sometimes and I will bleed from time to time. No big deal. I inject in the upper outer quadrant of the buttocks.

It's a small price to pay. I still go for the thigh, and it's not all that bad. Maybe 1 out of 20 goes a rye.
