So I went to the doctors today to get prescribed some medicine for my depression and get some counselors and try to get my transition going a little bit... Well when I got measured by the nurse she measured 64 1/2 Inches ( 5 ft 4 1/2)
Strange cause last year I was 5 ft 4 but In this July I grew to 5 ft 5 and measured that at home by my moms boyfriend and my mom at different times bare foot and back straight to the wall. I could tell I grew due to some stretchmarks on my thighs and painful growing pains. Then in August I went to 5 ft 6 and measured to 5 ft 6 when my mom measured and my moms boyfriend and my dad measured. Its strange... Did the nurse measure me wrong? She was pretty short and had to reach far. Also the measure/weight thing was 2 or 1 or so inches off the grown. Also I know I grew cause when I went up to my dad he is 6 ft and I was 5 ft 4 I went to his shoulder. And his wife who is 5 ft 4 we were both the same height. Then when I was 5 ft 5 I was an obvious inch taller than my dads wife by an inch and I went to my dads neck. Then at 5 ft 6 I go up to his tip of his nose. And my mom who is 5 ft 7 its obvious shes 1 inch taller than me. So is it just a mistake from the nurse? Or is it something else?
Thanks,
Peter

I would think that she probably messed up measuring.
My height stopped growing around 14 (I'm about 5'6" and a 1/4 still today:P). When the school did the yearly checkups for height/eyesight/etc, I was told I was 5'5" one year and 5'7" another when my height didn't change. Same thing happened at doctor checkups when I went.
Based on the fact that you said she was short/had to reach up pretty high, I think you're probably the same height as you were when you last checked. I would still vote on you double checking your height at home and see what it says.
Edit: This is my opinion based on the skills of humans with measuring ::) (don't take this as 100% correct).
Good luck :)

I am considerably older than you but once upon a time I was 6'5' and am now nearing 6'2" a combination of old age and hormones are conspiring against me. On the bright side I am only as tall as Maria Sharapova at this point. Still tall but fitting in a little better. As to your question did the nurse make a mistake. It's possible, if doctors can operate on the wrong leg or leave tools or sponges inside a patient.
