						Hi,
So, I got my first testosterone shot today after almost three years off. Before that I was on close to six years. What changes should I expect? I have noticed a difference in mood, appearance, etc while off it. . Just wondering if anyone else has done this and if it's like starting it all over again or is it just the same. I can grow a full beard but I still get clocked as female over the phone.
Peace,
Liam

I'd guess the phone thing is how you talk, not your actual voice pitch. I have problems with this too because i learned to do this hyper feminine voice when talking to customers and it's a hard habit to break. I also use a more high pitched voice when I feel threatened by someone and want to mollify them. What makes me really dysphoric is sometimes I break out this calming maternal voice (I don't know where it comes from!) on people.
When I'm with my friends I get surprised at how low my voice is. I guess I always spoke in a lower register when I was relaxed and being myself.
