Title: Did your body have more androgynous features?
Post by: Tristan on September 25, 2016, 11:25:16 AM
A thought came to my mind last night while i was laying up in bed thinking to myself my hands are super tiny and are very female but besides my hands my feet and other parts of my body like my shoulders look very androgynous.
So i got curious and i wanted to see how many trans or non binary folks think upon this subject, do we tend to have a lot of androgynous looks?  :)

[This is worded strange but i mean no offence i'm just naturally curious and the thought came to my mind]

In my teenage time, I was androgynous or feminine looking, but time living T based took a toll.  For that, I am now finding that my frame is not that big.  I actually fit in to a feminine body shape, just on the bigger end of the scale.  Now, HRT has brought me back to the androgynous side of things when I am not trying.

So I guess the answer is yes, I have had an androgynous shape and style throughout this life and am now shifting it to the side of the binary spectrum that I want to reside in.

Yes.  Many of the androgynous features are typical symptoms of pre-natal DES exposure.  Low upper-body muscle mass.  Light body hair.  Pubic hair pattern closer to typical female than typical male.  Broad-ish hips.  Gynecomastia.

Also, I'm told I have a feminine face, though I don't see it.

It's nice to have a bit of a head start on physical transition that has survived testosterone poisoning. :)

I wish I had a shot of E for every time someone said "you would have made a cute girl" when I was younger.  Inside I was screaming "I know, but a mistake was made". But I kept quiet for 50 years.  Big mistake.

My body has always been more on the feminine side when it comes to proportions.  My hands and feet for example are small and female in shape. My hips have also always been wider than a typical males hips and more inline with female hips. I also have never had much muscle mass, especially upper body, which has always been very weak. And I couldn't build muscle for anything. My face was more adrogynous but it's now mostly female after hrt for 6 months. I don't know if that's some intersexed thing or if my mom used DES or something, I don't know, but I am glad that I have a female body type without having to worry about broad shoulders or overly large hands, makes passing so much easier. I've even had several transwomen get jealous when they saw me (and like 3- 4 cis women).

I can't say I see too much androgyny in it, but for some people it definitely is a thing. I have more upper body mass, I suppose that counts.
