Title: Strange reaction when off hormones

I've been on hormones for about a year, and have only had very small physical changes - in particular my breasts are barely a AA.
I thought I would stop the hormones for a few days to see if restarting would give things a kick start. Strangely after about 4 days my breasts became very sore and felt like they were really budding. But then as soon as I started the hormones again everything stopped and they have gone back to what they were before. Just wondering if anybody has any thoughts on what happened, and whether I should have periodic breaks or change what I am doing?

Oh well, looks like I'll just accept that I'm rather weird and estrogen doesn't do normal things to me!

Only a good endo has any chance of discerning what's up; when things don't follow protocol expectations. No way around it. They'll feed you to the vampires doing tests...
