I got called a miss in public by someone recently. I didnt bother me at all ofcourse. The lady felt terrible thinking she offended me when she didnt. Well okay but when someone calls me sir for example, you can see how badly it bothers me. This is just an example one of many things. It's amazing how people never can seem to get it. Yes both my parents have asked me a few times before if I wanted to be a girl but that's it.

Im not one to just say hey Im a girl, not a boy. It's WAY to awkward to say and have only been able to do it a few times. Im sometimes so obvious and yet people just dont get it. I want people to see the real me, not me have to do it for them.

I agree.  When I get gendered female it actually makes me feel good even though I'm just starting a very slow transition.  Typically it happens when people approach from behind.

I do hate to be called sir even when I'm not trying to present as female.
I know it's not their fault at all but it causes me pain. I of course, love
when I'm seen as a woman when not even trying (no makeup or women's clothes)
this feels the best.
