hey there, so basically what im asking is if t changes your head shape at all? i know most people experience jaw changes and facial structure changes, but what about your head? ive always thought i had a giant forehead and it is big but its not awful, it just tends to look worse because my forehead has a very prominent curve to it rather than being somewhat straight, and im wondering if T would have any chances of making it not so round seeing as how most men have strighter foreheads than women (at least thats what ive noticed)????

Welcome to Susan's Place. I am not sure how much Testosterone would affect the forehead but there is a wide variation in facial structure that I have observed in the MTFs. Some have the the more masculine skull and desire FFS to alter their face while others appear feminine even without HRT. I suspect you may be surprised at how much T will change your face as it often produces a young and handsome appearance in many of those I have observed. Others will post to this thread latter and be able to give you more detail based on personal experience.

After puberty the bone structure won't change but fat redistribution occurs which will overall change how your face looks. It's a good idea to look at the male faces in your family because most likely you'll end up looking similar after 5 yrs of T.

Look at men in your family and their foreheads. Do their foreheads look like yours but different with the more masculine hairline? Can you see yourself looking like this once your hair line recedes on T?

I say this because skull shape is a type of phenotype expression and is tied to your genetic heritage (but influenced by environment to some degree). The shape of foreheads was mentioned frequently in eugenics literature in the late 19th, early 20th centuries so I suspect it says more about your tribe than anything else.

The fat distribution in your face can change, and your hairline could also change. Those would create the appearance that your face and head structure/shape have changed, but there's no skeletal shifting going on or anything like that if you're beyond puberty.

Yeah, it's not going to change the shape/curve of your skull, and male and female skulls are different. But if you have an issue with the amount of forehead showing you can - I presume - utilize a hairstyle to offset things like that, have some hair covering it for example, or have the hair shaped by a haircut to suit the actual shape of your head or offset the things about it you might not like so much.
