I tried the turmeric paste thing a month ago on my arm on a spot to test. It's been almost a month now and much of the hair in that spot has not grown back at all. Some other hairs grew back normally and a few are growing back way slower. After almost a month, Id think it would grow back all normally if it didnt work. I only put it on 2 times. Too bad it was a disaster with my face and didnt work there at all. It would have helped yet it stained it like others said on my face and took a long while for it to come off.
I might just work it on my arms and hands for now and I can save a bit of money on permanent hair removal atleast!

Here is a tutorial on sugaring which is like waxing. If you can afford a cup of sugar and a lemon you are all set,

Yup! :) I just made some milk and turmeric paste thing and let it sit on that spot for almost 30 minutes. You have to shave the hair off before you put the paste on. In order to remove it all, you have to do it for a few months atleast one to 2 times a week. It does leave a slight yellow stain or atleast for me it did for a half a day or so but it does work.

The day after I made the decision to transition I went to a beauty shop and had all my body hair that I could see removed. They used sugaring to do it...I have since had waxing and although I found it a little more painful and irritating to my skin the waxing seemed to do a better job however the Sugaring was much nicer on my skin. I would have it done for my legs again and there is nothing quite like the feel of a freshly waxed/sugared leg.
