Title: Haircut
Post by: Jonathan L on October 11, 2016, 06:53:05 PM
I don't know what to do with my hair. Any advice?

Hey, I suggest this one, its how I got mine. I really like it because its shaved at the sides but not by much and long at the top still.

I dont know how well it will work on you since your face is still feminine and it might do well to offset that with a certain hairstyle, perhaps longer hair in a certain swoop or cut?

It looks like WolfNight is suggesting an undercut. That is a great hairstyle that also works at many lengths. I usually get a 2 on the sides and let my hair stay long on top, brushing it all to one side.
Of course you can do plenty with it, brush back, forward, including a man bun if its long enough.
Go ahead and ask for an undercut and the stylist will know exactly what you want.

I also favour the undercut; it makes any guy look masculine. You can have it longer on top if you prefer and then style it into a quiff.

I have found that having the sides short but top long and square (rather than faux hawkish) helps square up and masculinize faces, so that's what I would do if I was you.  Go with what was suggested above and make sure the longer part on top forms a squarish look--making it too pointy just femininizes and rounds a face and yours is already rounded.

Thanks, guys! I've actually been toying with getting an undercut for awhile so sounds like I should finally take the plunge. And that's a really good point, FtMitch about having a more square shape. I've had a difficult time getting hair stylists to do what I want because I don't pass yet and even when I show them a pic of a men's haircut it still comes out looking feminine, lol.
