Title: HRT Overdose?
Post by: transnztal on October 27, 2016, 12:35:01 PM
Before I start I do not promote HRT overdose and the effects discussed in this thread is to show people what NOT to do. If you take too much mtf HRT will it raise testosterone or promote your body to make more I have heard you can get masculine if you take too much is this true?

Uh, someone told me before that if you go down in dosage then the body will produce testosterone to compensate for the gap in the amount of hormones or something until it adjusts again.

There isn't a pathway to convert Estrogen to Testosterone BUT there can be major health risks. Under some conditions your risk of blood clots can go up and liver damage is possible. Proper monitoring reduces these risks to almost nothing so under normal conditions, HRT is safe.
