Is funny sometimes I really don't know what I look like anymore. I personally think I look pretty masculine. Some stories.  I was at work one day and I had only been there a couple of weeks. My boss and I were at the elevator waiting for a colleague to join us and another colleague got in the lift and called out "are you girls coming in the lift". It didn't register at first I think for me or my boss and nothing was said lol.

Sometimes I like to go into shops and see if I get gendered female. A couple of times I went in a shop with my wife and son and the sales assistant hollers out hi ladies to us. This has happened more than a few times now. I find it hilarious my wife well she rolls her eyes...

Today I was a cafe and the girl behind the counter called out to me I think or to the a bunch of ladies in the queue are you ladies being served? Is a bit strange my big boss was with me at the time. I wonder do I really start to look,like a girl. I feel no different and all. I'm definately conciouse of my chest they have grown to a b cup.

I like it when I get called a girl. One thing for sure hrt has definitely settled my mind.  I read another person post in another thread and they mentioned that they never feel the urge to dress up after hrt. Before hrt I was always obsessing about this issue not I feel much more relaxed I don't even feel the urge to dress up say sexy anymore.  Is great like a weight lifted from my shoulders.
Of course I like regular girls clothes and am always going  around the shops looking at the things I want to wear but it is different feeling now. Much better. I seriously feel great. I am also blessed with a partner that is trying to understand how I feel. I just hope I don't alienate her.

Anyway that is my quota of rambling for today

I tried on some pants today in a shop 32 waist and they felt tight especially across the butt and legs lol

Well, it certainly is fun.  I have been getting constantly gendered as a woman for the past couple of weeks including the Thai restaurant I went to on Saturday.  I caught my reflection in the mirror in the same place and thought, who is that chick looking at me and I am not wearing any makeup and have always assumed I was in male mode.

As we see ourselves every day, we do not notice the changes taking place but if I run into someone I have not seen in a month or two, they seem curious why I look more feminine than usual.  I always thought the hair style, the long nails,  lack of any beard, woman's high heeled boots and matching woman's earrings should have provided a clue.

Sounds like you are more open Lilliana. I am not out at work or anything and am a bit self-conscious. I often think do I look like obviously transsexual and is plain as day etc... I do get a little paranoid about that I suppose which is the only downside of not being 100% open to those that you work with.

Earrings and high heels would be a cert giveaway in my book, but I guess ppl have entrenched views about people they know for a long time and maybe can't see the obvious.

Well, with advanced age (middle fifties) comes perspective and I have always gone out of my way to not really care what others thought.  I only wish this meant I had the 'ahem' testicular fortitude to transition in the eighties or early nineties when things got bad for me mentally trying to deny my essential nature even though I have looked feminine all my life.

You are young and beautiful and have your whole future ahead of you, I wish I had your courage at your age.

I am pretty sure my co-workers know what is going on and since they also probably know I am dying to tell them, they are denying me this as sort of a reverse trolling and if they are, I have to say, bravo.  That is the kind of benevolent maliciousness I can get behind since that is how it is where I work and I am the worse one of the group.

But nooooo, I'm still running into people who haven't figured it out.

I haven't been hiding the changes over the last two years, but I was minimizing them. Most people I work with figured it out before I gave up minimizing the changes recently, but I'm still running into people who haven't figured it out.

I haven't been hiding the changes over the last two years, but I was minimizing them. Most people I work with figured it out before I gave up minimizing the changes recently, but I'm still running into people who haven't figured it out.

I have been wondering if I show up to work in a dress and wearing makeup whether folks will figure it out.
