Finally, only a few days left before i can enjoy being complete after soooo long wishing for it  ;D

Yupp !!  So i will undergo  FFS part 3 with dr Bensimon.  Jawline recontouring and tracheal shave for 2nd time (revision)  then Dr Brassard will do Vaginoplasty just after.  :D

Alright so here start my journey =)  We are 22/11/2016 morning and surgery is tomorrow!! My admission at the "Centre Metropolition de Chirurgie" is at 7 o'clock on 23/11/2016.

First update
22/11/2016 morning : Packing things, im finally done with getting all things required for surgery and post-surgery. I am currently at my parent's house wich is 5 hour road away from Montreal so i will be leaving soon. My mother is comming with me and we are heading to my appartment a Montreal wich is 40 mins away from the CMC(centre metropolitain de chirurgie) .   Once i arrived there, i will have to  1: do my first Fleet Enema at 16h . 2: shave everywhere near genitals from belly button to perianal zone 3: wash my hairs because i will be a long time without having right to do it 4: take my last meal  5: at 20h i will have to do another Enema.

At 00:00 i wont be allowed to take water anymore and ive learned from last surgery. I wont be eatin something that will increase the water need.. Last time 1 hour after i wasnt allowed to drink anymore, i was thirsty as *** .

23/11/2016 :
Surgery date , i left home at 6 am to drive to the place . My admission was at 7 ô'clock . Once I arrived there I went straight to let know receptionnist that I arrived . She told me that my surgery was planned for 6:45 am .. there was a mistake on the email i received for the hour . So I had the fastest admission ever , at 7h15 am I was already upstair talking with anasthesist , Dr brassard and dr bensimon . At 7:25 I was already on the surgery table and I woke up at around 12:20 with everything done .

Ive been moved to my room about 45 min later and i received first painkiller injection . I am not allowed to move from the bed for at least 24hour . At 18h40 they have let me stand up
And walk for a few second .  At 20h10 they changed bandage and I could see that this horrible penis was gone . I could see a little part of my vagina but most of it is covered with big bandage . I have a tube for pee , its weird I'm just peeing without noticing . Then I have another tube to drain blood.

I will be completely honest , I had many surgeries and THIS Is the worse one .. it's not because it hurts a lot but the discomfort .. omg .. its like if someone was pressing on my removed testicules very hard and all the time .  I just cant sleep.

Jaw contouring and tracheal shave are not hurting at all . I think he did a good job.

Pain pain pain Omg it hurts so much ...

If you are feeling pain, discuss it with the nursing staff. Often they go light on pain killers because often people need little or none. If you are sensitive there is no reason for you to suffer and I suspect they will change your dosage. If you remain silent, they won't.

This is exactly what happened . I had 3 injection but totaling 1mg already .  I told them about this crazy pain and they injected me 2mg.. I still can get another 1mg for the next 5 hour .. it hurts a little less but pain is still refraining me from sleeping . 



Edit : just had last dose allowed of injectable painkiller . I am peeing a lot , nurse just removed 1.2L from last 3 hour

24/11/2016 Morning update :
Ive been given more injection of painkiller , they are going to change it for another one because it seems to not work very well with my body

Dr brassard came to see me at 7:10 . We didn't talk after surgery so it was first time I was seeing him since surgery . He said that my surgery went very well . I had very good quality skin and thick to work with . He said that I will be pleased with the result . Before surgery Dr. brassard told me that the quality of the result depend on skin quality so I'm very happy . He said I will have minimum 5 inch depth .

Dr Bensimon came to see me at 7:25. We didn't talk After surgery too. He said that doing revision on my tracheal shave really did worth it , he shaved much more . For the jawline recontouring, he said that my bone on right side was anormally longer then left so he shaved much more on right side . He made the jaw rounder , it should look great 😇   


Update : they changed my painkiller med for something else . I almost don't feel pain anymore =)

Update 2 :  i just ate with nausea .. I did vomit on myself .. I cryed after for some reason

Update : they changed my painkiller for another type and I'm finally feeling ok with less pain. I could sleep a little ☺️. They made me walk twice last night already .

You'll never know whether it's caused by the new med or because one more day has passed and you might feel better anyway :)

Update : I just had blood drain and urina cathéter  removed . There is still a blocker for pee . I Have to stand and go to toilet every 2h to learn to pee with new anatomy .

I will be moved to asclepiade convalescent home in 45 minutes . I will stay here until December 1 2016 . This is where I will learn post op care and my new anatomy

Update : since yesterday night , i am having problems with poo. I feel the need of using toilet but when I do it , almost only liquid and gaz go out.. due to my new vagina being fragile and to prevent  mould expulsion , I cant contract down there. I had to go many time to toilet .. side effect I suppose .

The food at this place is DELICIOUS seriously .  nurse and medical staff are so nice too . Smiling and always available to help and awnser to worries / questions  .

I woke up in pain again so I took more painkiller at 2am hopefully I can sleep again.

I am alone in my chamber with a queen bed and everything needed for the stay is here

If you are having difficulty with number 2, again talk to the staff. The longer you wait, the more of a problem it can become if you can't get the solids out. If you are taking to long, you will need a laxative though they may already be giving you a stool softener. The softener may not be enough to do the job.

it is the 7th time i went for number 2 since last night. I told nurse and they gave me immodiums and said to drink a lot of water. Hopefully it will solve the problem.   


Update :  :( ??? i had red blood after i was done with urinate.. First time that it happens and its scary.  Nurse just removed bandage of my tracheal shave. By looking at it, i think dr Bensimon did a good job this time :)

Now it sounds like the laxative is to effective or you are living on a diet of prunes or prune juice. Immodium should do the job but I always hate to take it because we used to call it liquid cork. It can make you constipated for a day or two.

Just woke up middle of the night with horrific pain . I would say 7.5/10. Worst sensation of burning ever . It burns on the 2 long scars and at the vagina entrance . I took 2 painkiller , it lowered the pain but also stoned me . My head is spinning . I still haven't done number 2 .. hopefully tomorrow this problem will solve .. my stomach is hard and bloated .

Edit : ive been Able to sleep another 30 min then woke up with hot flashes again . I need to start those hormones again ... bleh ... ( next Thursday )

Not sure where you are in the world but the best thing I can suggest for medication induced constipation is a product called Parachoc, designed for children who refuse to go to the toilet for fear of it hurting. Very gentle and is basically flavoured paraffin oil. It works amazingly well and will not require a huge "pushing" effort...see your pharmacist. I have been on narcotic meds for many years and I swear by it and there is not much I haven't tried. 40mls and 6 hrs later the stool is softened and on the move if not 20 mls per day until you move...and you will move!!!

It's not uncommon for number 2 to take a few days. I think I was on day 4 after my surgery by the time I did, but before that I was fighting a ton of gas. I hope things clear and settle for you soon. Hugs

27/11/2016  daily update:

I had my bandages removed in the morning followed by a fleet enema to try to solve the constipation. They also gave me 2 senekot in the morning.  I hold that damn Enema 10 minutes inside me then went straight to toilet.. Result... NOTHING.. Nurses were getting a little worried.

I went to take first shower after, woooow finally i can get clean.  It was so nice to take a shower without the view of a penis. i was smiling all the time. I went back into my room, the nurse came and explained me my new anatomy and she showed me more post-op care . ex: applying polysporin on the 2 scars, leaving the vagina uncovered 99% of the time.. etc)

And .... woooooow im so pleased with the result. Ive seen many post-op vagina and most of them were looking NOTHING like that.. Damn we already can clearly imagine what its going to look like fully healed.

Cis looking!   Dr brassard did such a good job.. omg

there is still the clitoris ,the inner labia and the ureta that are covered with a bandage sinked with blood that will fall in a couple day.

at 14:00 : oh... ohh. ooooooohhh  the urgent need to go to toilet arrived. i cant run ( lol) and i got lucky to arrive at toilet with no one there.  God... it was a mega number 2 bomb...  :D

Later in the night i took my first sit bath, again this was awesome not seeing the thing.  Im about to sleep now, tomorrow is a big day. We are removing the mould/plug/package, whatever you want to call it from the vagina. I will have to start dilating and doing vaginal shower just after.

Yeah it's packing and well it was certainly packed in there. Then again you watched them remove it from me. Dena is right it might kind feel a little bit weird, but you will feel relieved once it is removed because that pressure won't be built up inside Hugs

Congrats girl. Recovery can be difficult but it seems like you are doing good. I'm sure that your doc did a great job. I bet you can't wait to see what it looks like with everything removed. 😃

My cavity was filled with packing materials inside of a condom.  When it came out, it was pulled out all at once.  It felt really good to get that out.

Yeah. SRS was the worst for me. BA was so easy. FFS was really not so bad, pain-wise.....just annoying waiting for results. Then again so was SRS in that respect as well.

Congratz on your new vagina  :)  So exciting, and you have such a world ahead of you.  The pain will pass as everything heals, but those first moments are truly fantastic. 

Honestly, I haven't thought about my surgery in years until I read your posts.  I had my surgery scheduled to coincide with two other friends down in Arizona.  We each had different issues, mostly small, but we each made it through.

Yeah, Brassard puts the packing in a condom, so the good news is that it comes out all at once and the relief is instantaneous. Frankly, I felt better even as soon as they snipped the stitches holding the condom in place. :)  Just a few more hours!

Ask for more pain killer :) they give it to you I think every 4 hours... hang in there... I know the feeling beautiful... but it'll pass... say hello to Florence :)

28/11/2016 :
i finally had the package removed in the morning. What a weird suction feeling.  Just after.. i felt soooo much better.
i had to do first dilatation after ( around 6,5 inch depth) then vaginal douche + shower . It went well, no pain
ive to do 4 dilatation in the day so i did the 3 other painless too,  another vaginal douche + sit bath  then that was it.

29/11/2016:
Finally, i slept more then 6 hour without interuption. It was maybe 1-3 on pain scale last night.  In the morning, they were supposed to remove my catheter but... im unlucky and i have a blood cut(not sure if it how you call this) that is stuck with the catheter.. They said that if they remove it now, i have risk that it starts bleeding and the urete entrance might get blocked.. They said that they would need to put catheter back on if it happens.. So they prefer to leave the catheter for additionnal 1-7 day   :(

dilatations were painless, however.. i believe i have lost some depth(back to 6 inch). I will have to check with nurse if i do everything correctly when ill do morning dilatation tomorrow.

Oh that is ->-bleeped-<-ty... I hate the catheter... I hate the suction feeling you get after you empty your bladder... I think it's normal for you "to lose depth" you are swollen that's why.., you aren't really losing it! Good luck!

It's certainly possible to gain additional.  I can attest from personal experience.  ;)

I had the catheter in for an extra week and it really is a drag. When you get it out and have your first female pee I was smiling and it sounded wonderful. So you have something to look forward to.

I am glad you got the packing out. It definitely adds a lot of pressure in any position. I had two very long cloth packing strips and it kind of tickles when the doctor removed them. I thought when is the cloth going to end.

If you over do it ice is your friend.

Today all 4 dilatations went well . Just a little more painful . About 30 min ago I felt the urgent need to go to bathroom ( #1) . I ran there , opened the catheter then peed all over my legs and feet . ->-bleeped-<-ty catheter ... half went out from catheter and other half from me.... they will Check tomorrow morning before I leave if they can remove it .. if not I dunno what I'm gonna do .. I dont want that to happen everyday until dec 6th( planned day of removal )

It sounds like you are peeing around the catheter which means the swelling is down to the point you will have no difficulty with peeing when the catheter is removed. For now, you will need to sit on the toilet when you pee and aim the catheter in the toilet in order to confine all the golden fluid to the proper receptacle. Even though it's a pain right now, it's a good thing.

Totally agree with Dena. Also, I have been there and done that. Yeah it's a very good sign. Just a pain to deal with before it comes out. Hugs

And I asked dr brassard about skin elasticity down there... and he said progesterone and estrogen gel will help... I'll ask my GP

Nurse was like O_o . Haha anyway im leaving in a few hour after second dilatation . So happy to have catheter removed and finally sitting on the toilet seat for a reason  ;) ( peeing like a mam' )


Im healing VERY fast .. it always been like that with FFS too . Almost all swolen is gone :O ( major labias are getting more and more symmetrical and they already closing  together )

So I left home to my appartment in Montreal on December 1st . Everything went well , my mother was here to help me. This morning I made decision to already leave for parents house. I did drive my manual car for 5 hours with snow storm . Lol don't tell nurse  :laugh:

Dilatations are getting more sensitive . Hopefully it doesn't get worse . The amount of time required in a day for post op care is just crazy... first month you cant have a life.

is it expensive grs in canada? I was born and living in Turkey few years ago but still didnt complete grs. All of girls is going to thailand for surgery and they are taking horrible results. Is ıt looking natural on you?

The current pricing is $20,000.00 Canadian.  I had my surgery a month ago, and I am very happy with the results so far.  I still have some swelling at this point, so that affects the look, but it gets better each day and I think it will turn out very nice in the end.

Dilatations are getting soooo painful  :'(  :'( .. its crazy .. I took painkiller and it didn't even help

I love my result too... though finally result they say is in 6 months but I ain't complaining... I just wish I'm as pretty as you... dr bensimon did a good job on your face... i need to save up

Make sure you use a lot of lube... and it will get better... how I d my dilation now that I'm almost 2 months I soak my dilator in distilled water with sea salt and it make the dilator skipper and I put the lube at the entrance of the vajayjay and it'll slip right in... but remember I'm 2 months this might work or might not work... I'm just saying how I do my dilations...

An additional tip when dilating. Make sure the dilator is straight and the back is low enough. Often because of arm length, people attempt to hold the dilator high resulting in the wrong entry angle. You want the dilator to follow the path of the the vagina and that will reduce the pressure on sensitive skin. If you are having difficulty with this, a mirror between the legs might help or you could use a partner to observe what you are doing and provide feed back.

I have Soul Source dilators and the instructions say you can put them into the refrigerator to help reduce the pain.

Dilatations still hurt . I still have a blood cot hiding my inner lips and clit . It looks like brown red Jell-o . I tried to play around my clit, I touched the clit hood and it felt awesome . I have so much sensation down there and it feels better then anything I can remember with my dead penis . I'm happy , 13 day post op and already have sensation  :angel:

Another trick: if you are allowed by your doc: buy a jar of coconut oil. It produces less friction than lube, and only melts at body temperature so there is no mess. But sometimes coconut oil is not allowed, so be sure to check that. I found coconut oil to be the least painful, especially with PU plastic dilators, which are painful because of the rigidity. All other oils and lubes are horrible in my experience. After a month or so, I also tried switching to a dildo, which felt really good. But I remain using the PU dilators 'till this day. Dilators are designed to do a specific thing.

I am 3 months post op and continue with my 2 a day schedule.  I use coconut oil every now and then and I also use a fake penis dildo a few times a week which feels really good.  My depth has increased since I started using the dildo.  i don't know if it's related to that or not but I have gained a 1/2 of depth since I've started my dilations.

That is normal to have clot on the clit! It'll go away in time :)

I take mortrin for swelling... the pain is actually from swelling.... take it an hour before dilation... it helped me a lot.... oh and it's every 6 hours the mortrin... it'll be good for 2 dilation then take another before 3rd dilation... and ice area before dilation helped too... I hope this helps... sorry if I'm repetitive

Yes , i am on day 14 . This is when nurses said I could start using Motrin . I really saw a difference

Anyone has explaination of where all this water is comming from ? Is it uncontrolled self lubrification? Im getting soooo wet all the time and not just from the inside . There is water all over my vagina, butt and thighs . Worst moment is when I wake up. omg the pique is full of water and so cold. I clean everywhere with Kleenex and 10 min after its all wet again .. ???

There is one other possibility and that's bladder leakage. One of the things they told me to do after my surgery was kelegs (http://www.webmd.com/urinary-incontinence-oab/urinary-incontinence-kegel-exercises-for-pelvic-muscles) because not peeing naturally for a long time weakened the muscles. I never had a problem with it because the amount of swelling I had made it very difficult for me to pee but others must have and that's why they stressed the exercises so much.

It could be a combination of things, lube coming out and drainage.

dont know if anyone has said anything about bromelian but its something worth looking into, it rapidly increases surgery recovery times and works both as a protein catabolizer to break down scar tissue (to aid in rebuilding soft tissue) and works as a natural anti inflammatory since it comes in the center of pineapples,

My plastic surgeon recomended this as well as Arnica Montana for a day or two before surgery as well as a week after. It worked very well.

Meltzer also had me on the Arnica Montana as well. Hugs

Some progress,  i have a complete view of my clitoris and my inner labias.  Its very well made and look pretty :)

I, um, thankfully never had such a restriction.  For intercourse, yes (which I cheated and started at 10 weeks instead of 12), but for self-touching?!?  No, nuh uh, I was at it two weeks post-op, and good thing too because it took another week to have my first O, which was a really small blip (no better than a ruined orgasm) but they soon got better oh yes they did.

Yeah ... with brassard its 8 week for stimulation and 12 for oral / penetrative ..

Update :  Since a few days  I can sit , sleep on the side, cross my legs without any pain at all.  I dont have discharge anymore other then water . Even with vaginal douche nothings comes out except clear liquid(water).

Dilatations are getting easier too, its just annoying having to do it 4 time per day.   Cant wait for Dec 23  to reduce to 3 time per day

Sounds like your recovery is going well! Hang in there with the dilations. Time goes by quickly and you will be at the point where reductions is times will happen. Great news! :)

I havent updated for a while:

Since dec 24,  i switched to 3 dilatation a day ;  5 min size 2 , 10 min size 3 , 15 min size 4   x3 per day .    The size 4 (orange) dilatator is huge omg.  Its going well, i could enter it until all dots were inside.   

I am going to go back to gym today.  That will be so great not having the fear of having the tucking visible anymore lol.  I will be able to concentrate on what im doing at the gym for the first time since transition =)

I am so glad it has all gone so well for you as well as for Jujube.   I am scheduled for GRS April 11th and a bit nervous.  My two closest friends went to Brassard also and I accompanied one for her surgery and was able to see the facilities first hand. I am very excited but nervous at the same time.  I have helped my two friends through their recoveries but it is great to also see and hear from other girls who have recently gone through the experience.

I am excited about my upcoming date and appreciate you girls for sharing. As I mentioned, my two closest friends went to Brassard for their hrs and also another close friend had hers done over 20 years ago with Dr Menard. 
I love to see how fast you girls are recovering. Makes me feel good about my decision.
