Title: About hormone blockers

So I'm on decapeptyl (estrogen blockers) along with testosterone, and I'm going to be travelling on the day that I'm supposed to be taking my hormone blocker shot, is it ok to take the shot 2 days earlier than I'm supposed to? Is that bad in any way? Is it better to take it too early or too late? :S

Can you not take them with you and take them on the day you travel? When I took blockers years back I never had a super strict day to take them.
If I were you I would would take them before usual.

This is an ask your doctor question. For drugs spaced out a month or more, a few days either way make little difference. If you are weekly or every other week, you might receive a dosage reduction if you take it early. If you take it latter, your levels might slip a bit more than normal and if you are on a weekly schedule, you might feel it.

I took blockers once a month and that's how most of them are distributed (monthly). Ask your nurse although they will probably just tell you to do it a few days early. The problems with doing it late are that your period could start up.
