As someone who somehow always needs to find validation I'm soon to be in a relationship and curious how many of you have used your genitals prior to SRS or even now but plan to have SRS in the future ? Does this effect reasoning for SRS ?

My general attitude about the "Dangly Bits" has been I'd rather not have them but.... As a consequence we've had a lot of really great times together (in the company of others).

In essence, I never had genital dysphoria. OK Mostly never had till lately as I feel more and more at ease seeing myself as a woman. GRS was never tops on my "Must Have" list. Still isn't. Perhaps never will be, in large part to my age and realities of life.

Not for years.  They went out of order with the onset of 'benign prostatic hyperplasia' and haven't really ever worked since then.  No, not interested in trying the little blue pill or whatever.  They're donor tissue.

You know what, I used mine in my mid20s when I thought I was going to get married. However, since coming out to myself, and making my first purchase of female underwear and PJs, I have never been more certain in my life I DONT want them anymore.

Sex has and will be part of my essence until I'm ancient lol. I had sex regularly before srs, if I couldn't get it up or had doubts I took Cialis. Now I'm a full sexually functional female and continue to have sex. Never liked having a penis but tolerated its presence because it brought me pleasure and an escape from my dysphoria. As the dysphoria got worse I found sex was my only escape.

Today, I love my sex even more but the former constant drive that I had as a male is not there and I seem to need it less. But the pleasure now is much much greater and far outweighs the quantity I had before.

I feel like I wanna use them before I lose them, it's just that I can't really find anybody who likes me which feels kinda awful and makes me wonder if I should put SRS off for a while.

I've always enjoyed sex as male, but its never felt quite right.

As male, I had sexual encounters often up until a year prior to GRS then for that year I seldomly did nothing more than pleasure myself. Today as a female I pretty much have more sex then ever before. Intimate encounters for me has always been important to me, doesn't always have to be penetration either.

Sex/making love is an essential part of us which shouldn't be denied unless there is a good deal of dysphoria.

As a man I always felt my size was inadequate. I'm really looking for to having my lady bits. I miss sex and had fun with it. But I always wanted to be the girl.

I always felt that they were wrong for me but used them for my wife's and my pleasure for several years. However, I have not had any use for them for several years.

I have sat or squatted to pee full time for over 19 years and have not used them for sex for almost 8 years.  They are now only unnecessary and an inconvenience.

I never had sex with my former genitalia, but I will be definitely having sex and likely often after marriage. Who know maybe I will allow my virginity to be taken prior to the Labiaplasty this March. Hugs

Being a lesbian my male bits come in handy as the perfect strap on. I don't plan on getting rid of them even though I'm now contemplating going on hrt to finish the puberty that stopped when I was 15 and kept me in limbo for 36 yrs and becoming the woman I true my am.

I've used mine and depending on whether or not I decide to be non-op I'll continue to use them so long as my partner is a bi or pan woman who might enjoy that, as a lesbian woman definitely would not enjoy that. Sex isn't huge to me though. It's not like I'm topping or friggin' jackhammering when I do it, I just like the feeling of being close and intimate with another partner that way. That said there are other ways to be intimate and I'm undecided in regards to bottom surgery at the moment.

So I'm curious, and this might be tmi for some, I've always been a fan of big Labia lips; what do the Drs use to make the labia and clitoral hood?

Often the scrotum is used for the Labia. I know mine is at least partially scrotum material. Now as far as the hood I have no idea in my case since that is going to be part of my next surgery. Hugs

I was able to procreate even though I have a micro penis. I have a Son and a Daughter nearing 30 years old. I had a vasectomy after my daughter was born. Due to being prescribed Spiro for my heart problems my "Lil dude" has not been "active" in about a quarter of a century. I don't believe it was a sellout to my feelings of being different to have children as they have given me a richness of life not available otherwise. It allowed me to use my nurturing nature to bring them up. Coming out to people that had called me Dad all their life, made me extremely anxious. But I should have known better.

Yes, the scrotum is the homologue to the labia majora and the penis is the homologue to the labia minora and the clitoris.

It seems that most surgeons perform SRS / GCS using the shaft for lining, not quite anatomically correct for whatever are their reasons.

I hated whatever it was I had - neither male nor female according to the sex education manuals we received at elementary school.  I wanted nothing to do with that part of my anatomy.

I noticed that I had a cavity or vagina or something female down there and that felt good once I began feeling frisky on ERT hormones and decided it was time to explore.

Though I never had a male experience for lack of those useable 'male dangley bits', I can share that being female is great.  For me it can be as simple as cuddling close, a massage, or a special thought.  Genitalia are not always required - it becomes a whole-body sensation - that 'glow'.

Well I have used them because other people wanted me to but I never liked using them. And I don't think I'm going to use them in future now that it's "out" that I always hated using them.

Only one other FTM reaction so far, but I feel the same as TKGW. In retrospect, if I knew I would transition later in life, I would have chosen to stay a virgin.

I didn´t, and I seldom enjoyed the act. I don´t use those bits now and I look forward to having surgery and being able to appreciate that region.

Honestly, most of my personal issues with my unmentionables were amplified ten fold by sexual assault when I was younger. Strangely enough, I instead ended up over compensating and being a bit of a tramp in my younger years.

My sex drive is generally super low though, higher now than it's ever been now that I'm a lot more comfortable with myself and I've found my direction, still I can't wait for the snip snip. (My doctor informed me it could be as early as one year! I thought I originally heard it was two years minimum plus copious amounts of red tape. So this is amazing news.)

Another FTM here. I was super dysphoric about having a front hole and definitely didn't use it in play. I had vaginitis until I started T so I couldn't even use tampons. We're talking extreme pain here. After T my dysphoria lessened and I've used a toy in there and it felt pretty damn good although I end up feeling crappy about myself after masturbating when I use the front hole. Probably I am still somewhat dysphoric. I always thought I shouldn't have a cavity there and I should have a penis to pee. I don't have a phantom penis, though, so my bottom dysphoria is not as severe as some.

Haven't had any use for those danglely bits for a long time and wish that they were gone. Have not had sex for 8 years and have not stood to pee for almost 20 years.
