Title: Adam's apple
Post by: Nora Kayte on November 24, 2016, 12:15:31 PM
I thought your Adam's apple does not shrink on HRT. It used to be when I shaved I would have to stretch the skin around it so I would not cut myself. But now I can barely see it myself and I shave right over it now. So does it shrink or not? If not then WTF!

As far as I remember, HRT doesn't shrink your Adams apple. It's likely something else that is causing it to look smaller. Hugs

Did your neck get fatter? Or, more filled out?

I don't think so. I'm the same weight since starting HRT. I mean when I feel it. It is there but it is smaller for sure.

It probably does have some, usually limited effect. E shrinks cartilage which is why some of us lose height and shoe sizes.

Cartilage shrinking would not be a good sign as this a symptom of low E or T. I get the feeling it has more to do with fat accumulation, increased subcutaneous deposits.
