Title: Transitioning hairstyles?

At present, I'm on finasteride and spiro, as losing my hair was a step too far. In return, it has made my need to transition even stronger. My question for you all is: can you suggest a good transitioning hair style? Bear in mind, I'm a professor in a university, and I must maintain a professional appearance. That might be the only requirement. Any names of styles or pictures would be soooooo appreciated. Thank you, have a wonderful day. Sarah.

My "transitioning style" is wig or no-wig. In my case there is no other choice. In your work situation just look around at all your other female colleagues for guidance.

Hey; not a transwoman but I'm training to be a barber and am interested in various in hairstyles. Maybe something like these will do :)

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=medium+length+hairstyles+for+men&client=ms-android-samsung&source=lnms&prmd=ivsn&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjd5K_Z-8PQAhXKJcAKHbcgAbEQ_AUIBygB&biw=360&bih=615#imgdii=scF1HvsdaSJX4M%3A%3B0mSz9qKm7nosTM%3A%3B0mSz9qKm7nosTM%3A&imgrc=0mSz9qKm7nosTM%3A
Or you could just grow your hair long. Like this https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=medium+length+hairstyles+for+men&client=ms-android-samsung&source=lnms&prmd=ivsn&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjd5K_Z-8PQAhXKJcAKHbcgAbEQ_AUIBygB&biw=360&bih=615#tbm=isch&q=long+hairstyles+for+men&imgrc=HlkXmUalcaY_wM%3A
Or this
https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=medium+length+hairstyles+for+men&client=ms-android-samsung&source=lnms&prmd=ivsn&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjd5K_Z-8PQAhXKJcAKHbcgAbEQ_AUIBygB&biw=360&bih=615#tbm=isch&q=long+hairstyles+for+men&imgrc=S9YnrzZdVugNzM%3A
So you can still make it look masculine for work by keeping it unkempt and messy looking by using hair products; but make it more feminine outside of work. IMO it's not unusual for AMAB to grow their hair long anymore; something to keep in mind.
Hope these helped :)

Without seeing your, it's a bit difficult but a pixy, bowl or Dorthy Hamill are shorter haircuts that can go either way with very little styling. If your hair is curly, you are a bit more limited to a shorter full cut that could be worn by either gender. I am working with this style (https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fs-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com%2F736x%2F0a%2F43%2Fac%2F0a43aca77bce876923ce257eab8707d6.jpg&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Ffi.pinterest.com%2Fexplore%2Fbowl-haircuts%2F&docid=SBR848c4z9g9FM&tbnid=6niLqtuEuVICBM%3A&vet=1&w=534&h=808&itg=1&client=safari&bih=913&biw=1203&ved=0ahUKEwjl0PnCp8TQAhUIKGMKHRiHB-w4yAEQMwgDKAEwAQ&iact=mrc&uact=8) though when it reaches that length, I would be ready for a cut but you may find something under the following links.

Hairstyles should suit your face shape, for example someone with an oval face shape will look good with almost any hairstyle, whereas someone with a square shaped face has limited choices as some styles like wearing bangs on their forehead will enhance the squareness of their face. An oval face shape is the standard aesthetic so styles that make your face appear more oval are usually your best choices.

My hair is short but my wife's hair is even shorter. She is never questioned about her femininity.

And then you have to find the perfect color and part that really brings it all together. And now you are ready for prime time♨️
Any names of styles or pictures would be soooooo appreciated. Thank you, have a wonderful day. Sarah.

I grew my DA out, slicked back with gel like Jax in SOA til it was long enough for a ponytail.
