Differs. I will be checked three months from when I went back on after SRS, but I was about 6 months between checks before that. Hugs

Estrogen levels, anywhere from every 3 to 6 months. And annually after a year. Or... never. Depends on how you feel and how feminine you're looking. It all depends on what method your doctor prescribed to

I'm on pills, and see my endo every six months.

For the 1st 8 months or so, they checked every 5th injection; during that time my injections went from once a week, to every 5 days, to every 4 days (what I'm currently at). Every 4 days seems ok and they recently wanted to check in 2 months (so in early January for me after holidays and all that, from my last test in late October). I don't go in for actual visits though for about every 6 months.

For the last 10 years my endo has done my bloods every 3 months for hormone levels , cholesterol and other blood levels.........

For the first year I was checked every 3 months, but once he got me to levels he was happy with we stopped.

Why did you reduce injection interval? Based on how you felt? On levels measured? What were they? I'm curious as I'm also injecting every 5 days and considering reducing interval due to rapid increase and decrease of levels.

One doctor had it every three months, but then my next doctor did a four month wait to test, and then said it would be a year till she wants to test it again. My new doctor also doesn't even bother checking T or E, just potassium and the other normal stuff. In the first year most doctors seem to be far more worried about frequent checks.

I take pills, and while it has only been 6 months, I have seen my Endo twice already.  He is being careful because I have some pre-existing conditions(bipolar disorder and crohn's disease).  I have another appointment Jan 6.  Hopefully, after this appointment, I can skip more than 3-4 months, hehehehehe ;D

Every three months the first year, then once or twice a year after that depending how I feel, per my Dr's office.  I actually really like going to see my Dr :)

I think it was a little combination of both. My endo has me check a day before and a day after an injection to get my peak and trough (329 pg/mL and 80 pg/mL last time it was checked if I wrote this down correctly when the nurse called me). I sorta feel like increasing my dosage/levels, but I don't really have much to complain about. Seems to be effective enough, but I wouldn't mind a little more physical push.

Contraception. 1980 Apr;21(4):415-24.

"Peak plasma levels of estradiol and estrone were reached in approximately 4 days following the administration of estradiol cypionate and in a significantly shorter time (approximately 2 days) following the administration of both the valerate and benzoate."

Peak will also vary from one individual to another but in general, from all the studies I have read, it is at day 2, not day 1.

For me it is

1 month after starting T
3 months after that maybe 2 or three times
6 months after that
1 year after that indefinitely if there are no problems
