Title: What do doctors need to start this?
Post by: Aubree on December 19, 2016, 08:29:45 AM
I'm sixteen, been working on depression for 2 years along with transitioning. I've had a year of therapy and constant evaluations. I've worked so hard on my depression, that my therapists don't know what to do and I have no other way to deal with it. It's been many times that transitioning has been needed to fix it, but my parents never agreed to it. It's one of the times again but now the therapist won't agree to do it because they're new. I don't know what to do, what do doctors need to write a letter to start HRT?

Try to find a therapist that specialises in gender issues. They can write a reference letter for your doctor.

This could be a starting point:
