Title: New Year's Resolutions!!! :-D

Hi All...
I just thought I would put my New Year's resolution into writing since I think it is one that I want to remember and carry with me into the year ahead... Feel free to share your own if you care to!!!
I am resolving to be more gentle with myself in the coming year... My little self critical demons got a bit out of control at times in 2016. Self criticism can so easily swirl out of control and become a trap as well as an impediment to happiness... It's not that I succumed to them... I am an extremely positive person but I have given these feelings more than they are due... No more!!! :)!!!!... I feel renewed about the year ahead and I hope you all do as well... What we take on to make our lives right is enormous ...Like the salmon swimming upstream against the current to get to where they need to be... It is an honor to share the journey with all of you!!!... Keep on swimming!!!!
Onward we go brave sisters!!!

If those self critical demons start up with you, let me know, I'm Italian, I know people.. I can make arrangements!!
Okay, I'm only quarter Italian, I don't really know people, but still, I can be pretty harsh, well not really harsh.. I can at the very least give people a little support here and there, perhaps with a mafia accent reminiscent of the early days.. it will be a bit off, but perhaps they will get the gist.
Regardless, I wish you the best with your new year's resolution :)

I guess I made my resolution back in November when I decided to have VFS and a facelift (rejuvenation) in 2017.
That decision pretty much wiped all of my other plans, or resolutions, off the list. I figure I can always redo my hardwood floors and build that greenhouse in 2018 :)
Beyond the personal "upgrades", I have also resolved to keep playing the sport I love until I reach 10 years of doing it. I am not the oldest active roller derby player out there, but I am the most memorable. :) I am also resolved to reclaim more of a personal life--living in a way that makes me happy, healthy, fit, and more content in my skin. I started this earnestly in late 2016, but the results will be evident in 2017. And then when my 50th comes up later next year, I plan for it to be even better than my 40th, which was pretty incredible.
I have already made some great new friends, so things are looking up,
Eyes on the prize :D

Thanks Zamber!!! I got married in September to an Italian guy so I am Italian by marriage now!!!... I keep asking him when I get my decoder ring and get to call out hits and stuff!!! Already called out my first one on the demons of self criticism!!!
