Title: Hi, I'm Mattie!
Post by: Mattie Louise S. on December 30, 2016, 11:11:37 PM
I am new to the website, and forums.  I am very shy, but wish to publicly introduce myself.  I really appreciate the safe, welcoming environment that you have created here. I am a straight, MTF Crossdresser, and am very private about this.  I struggle to reconcile my natural tendencies with my faith, and wish that i could at least come out to my wife.  Though I will be the quietest girl in the room, I will learn a lot from your experiences.

Welcome to Susan's place. The shyest members are numerous and haven't made any posts. Now that we have you talking, we will work on you and soon you will be out there swapping stories with the rest of us. I am sure you have something to share and we will be waiting.

Hello Mattie

Don't be too shy, you can't learn much if you won't ask questions.

Hi Mattie, welcome to Susan's Place! Your introduction reminds me of my own, six years ago. I've learned and grown a lot in that time here, you will too. The words we leave on these pages build this site, and together those words help people with some of the most important and difficult times of their lives. You're helping people already, how does it feel?  :)

See you around the site!

Hugs, Devlyn

Mattie welcome. I am probably the most introverted person you will ever have contact with. However I don't mind writing. It's something about looking into peoples eyes while we speak. I've let very few people in over the last 40 years.  My second wife knew I crossdressed from near the beginning of our relationship. I have continued to dress over the years. But it wasn't just dressing up that I desired. I never thought it was possible to for me to pursue my dream because of all my heart problems. For the last few years I have had a reignited desire to finally find my way and thanks to Susan's Place, I am beginning to make out heads or tails. A question I have carried around for 40 years was the impetus for my search for answers. Why would I not fight for the love of my life. Why would I allow my soulmate to find satisfaction in the arms of another man. I discovered I am Trans, Have always been trans and from now on I will be exhibiting the traits of the woman I want to be. I am happy for my ex and the success that has come her way. I envisioned growing old with her sitting on the porch and reminisce about our children. I am now 4 1/2 months into HRT because back in the 70's I had no answers. There was no internet. I thought I was a pervert. There were few doctors doing the procedures with sometime terrible results. Luckily my second and current wife is much more accepting.
Your faith should be reflective of what the Lord said many years ago. Love the Lord with all thy heart and Love thy neighbor as thyself. There are no greater commandments than these. The Lord did not specify only white, straight people.
