Title: Question about Peeing
Post by: chelsey1970 on January 01, 2017, 12:46:23 PM
Just a question for other pre op or post op transsexuals.  Sorry for the blunt and maybe weird question, but I need to ask. I am pre op, and I notice that when I sit down to pee and relax my muscles to relieve my bladder that my anal muscles relax and I also feel the urge to poop to.  When I stand to pee I can control the muscles in my rectum and am able to pee without feeling the urge to poop too, but when I sit I am unable to control the rectal muscles and sometimes pass gas or poop while peeing. There are times when I do not want to do number 2 like in the middle of night when I just want to relieve my bladder and go back to sleep.  Is this normal?  Do Cis girls and other trans girls have this issue or am I the only one.  What can I do to change this?

Good question actually.  From what I understand the nerves are tied together to both and stimulates it all, so its not surprising you'd feel the stimulus for both at the same time. I don't really pee and poo simultaneously, but I do often feel the urge to do both when sitting down.

I had been sitting for years before GCS. I do not think there was any difference pre or post op about #1 or #2 while sitting. It may just be that when sitting the muscles are more relaxed.

Post op I am definitely much more relaxed when I pee and much quicker.  However, it can be a bit more messy.

I have always had that issue, but then again standing pee was never really an option unless I wanted to get everything including my clothes. Nothing has changed in the regards to the need to go #2 when peeing. Hugs

It happens for me. I asked my partner and she says that happens for her too. She obviously can't speak for all ciswomen, but it sounds like this is normal even for ciswomen.
