Title: Will I be proportional if I undergo HRT MTF?

Just did some rough measurements of myself.
I have approximately 17 inches shoulder to shoulder, 39 inch waist, and about 37 inch hips.
These were all quick poor measurements, but would it look okay?
I am also 179 centimeters tall, and weigh 230 lbs (I have a lot of muscle in my legs).

Hi - welcome to the site. It's hard to say, since HRT effects everyone differently - some areas might change more than others. Generally though you will usually find a loss in some muscle bulk, combined with fat deposits growing in areas they haven't before will change your overall body shape. It does take between 18-24 months for the full effect though so don't expect anything immediately. In the meantime you may find that posture, especially around the shoulders, can really change the way you look.

Welcome to the site.
As Ms Grace suggested, everyone's "millage will vary". Many people are surprised by how much after a few years it can change you.
I wish you love, acceptance and a smooth journey.
I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment to:
Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around, ask questions and join in.
With warmth,
Joanna

Thanks for the responses. :)
I am still very on the fence and a little scared of the idea.
I should start with true step 1 and speak with a counselor, before thinking too far ahead.
I am currently in the process of learning and figuring things out. Doing tons of research and understanding.
I also just turned 23 recently.

Absolutely visit a counselor/therapist. I have found that to be the most steadying aspect of my journey outside of my immediate family's support and electrolysis(more grounding than steadying-no pun originally intended).
Good luck. It is scary but has helped so many find happiness.
Warmly,
Joanna
