Title: From Pill to Patch
Post by: mnrjpf99 on January 12, 2017, 06:18:22 PM
I have my 6 month check up this next Wednesday and she wants to put me on the patch. I am wondering, what to expect from the change?

I switched to pills after about 4 months on patches, as my E levels didn't seem to be rising a lot. The patches felt subtle to me - no real noticeable spikes or drops when I put them on. Convenient because you don't have to remember to take pills multiple times a day. Have nail polish remover handy to remove the residue when you take a patch off - it won't just wash off in the shower. You may want to experiment to find out which parts of your torso have the best absorption as well. Hope this helps.

Patches should be put far from the breast, preferably on the buttocks where they are said to be the most effective.
