Title: Hello from Heidi
Post by: heidi j on January 13, 2017, 10:08:43 AM
Hello,I am Heidi and been living my life as female since November. No regrets doing this and living a much better life.I felt there was something not right with me since I was a little boy, felt I was born with the wrong body.I first came out in September about it,my family is slowly coming to terms about it and it will take time for them to do this fully. They are there for support and been getting to know the new me.I have decided not to transition and things are going well so far.The day I went fulltime,I had permanent hair extensions put in with my hair styled, nails and make up done.Had breast augmentation done on the 2nd and happy with the results.Married and my wife is still by my side, said she will be by my side always. Also a dad of 3 daughters whom are adjusting well to dad living life as female now

Hi Heidi,

Welcome to the site and congratulations.

It is great to hear your family is still with you. I am in a similar situation, still married with three daughters. They have all been very supportive as well. My wife cannot promise she will stay if/when I go to the final step but we are good so far. Communication has helped a lot.

I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment to:

Hi Heidi,  It is so great that your family is even if slowly they are supporting you.  I myself have yet to tell most of my family i did tell my older step-brother and he told me its my body just be sure of my decision.  i am of course talking about transitioning from male to female.  the rest of my family i am honestly scared to tell because they are military and i constantly hear derogatory remakes from them about transgenders, gays, bi's and lesbians so i really dont know what to do about them.  But my step brother has agreed to keep my secret until i feel its the right time to tell everyone else which will be probably because i love to avoid conflict after the surgery is done.  Now my father does know i wear womens panties and that i get my nails done sometimes and that i shave my full body but i have come up with excuses for all of those acts from comfort to psoriasis (which i do have lol).  But welcome to the forum from me and my split personality Arianna.
