Hey!
My name is Elliot, I'm 19 years old, I live in the USA and I'm FTM.
I've been out as trans for (exactly) 9 months and 9 days, although I am not out to my parents or any of my family.
Before coming out as trans I identified as gender fluid for about a year and a half and did come out to my mum as that. (that's not too exciting though, she's ignored it ever since I told her).
My boyfriend is also transgender (FTM) and we've been together for (exactly) 6 months and 19 days.
I'm here mostly because I need a lot of help figuring things out as I have not started my transition at all. I've made pretty much 0 progress since buying my first binder over a year ago (that is the wrong size) and I still wear it today.
I'm hoping to also connect with other trans guys and help to feel more accepted.
That's pretty much all I can think of!
Have a beautiful day guys!

Hi Elliot,
Welcome to the site.
I'm not really one of the guys but am glad you are reaching out to explore. There is a lot of info here and all over the web. However, I think the most important research tool is finding yourself a gender therapist. They don't define you but help you to define yourself through safe exploration.
I also want to share some links with you. They are mostly welcome information and the rules that govern the site. If you have not had a chance to look through them, please take a moment to:
Once again, welcome to Susan's. Look around, ask questions and join in.
With warmth,
Joanna

Hello, when i first came out i also actually came out as genderfluid with a (Masculine side) also. and i lived with this for a couple months before realizing it didn't fit me and something was still wrong. So welcome to susans place and feel free to chat or ask questions. I would suggest getting the correct binder, binder safety is important i tell this to everyone i meet because i bruised my ribs once. But besides that yea :D welcome.

Welcome to Susan's, Eliot.
I'm also USA, but far from 19.
You are in the right place to try and figure things out.
