Hi Girls,
Need a help. Am planning to get a voice feminisation surgery this week and in Feb I plan to undergo FFS. I read somewhere that a gap of 3 months should be kept after a VFS for any surgery under general anaesthesia. However my doctor does not seem to have a problem with that and is fine performing these two surgeries within a period of a month.
Kindly advise if anyone has any idea abt this.

Thanks geeky_jamie.
I had the same concerns. Had earlier booked voice fem. surgery for 19/01/2016. Day before yesterday I requested the doctor to do Forehead reconstruction and that would do VFS later after a month. Since I need to fly out, have a time constraint and needed to finish the surgeries before leaving out of the country (20/03/2017). Doctor said he can't change the surgeries but told me not to worry that with the technique he is using, FFS can be done after a month. He also requested to change the VFS to 18/01 (yesterday). My throat is very swollen and pains a lot when swallowing. Hopefully will get better. Will try to reschedule the FFS to a later date.

It's dr. Narendra Kaushik, I had done SRS from him in Nov. 2016. Was pretty happy with the results. But had a touch-up done yesterday, so will wait and see after the swelling goes down.
