Title: Did you start eating more or eating less when you started T?

I'm a few days shy of a month on T now and I've noticed that I'm eating a fraction of the amount I used to eat. Pre-T in any given day I would eat 3 solid cooked meals and a few snack breaks throughout the day. I think most of this was probably eating out of boredom late at night but still.
Now I eat 2 meals and maybe an after dinner cookie or tea. I am trying to watch what I eat because of working out but I'm not actively trying to cut down.
Has anyone else had this happen to them or even the inverse?

Yup, much less.
I had some noodles and chicken earlier, before that I didn't eat for a whole 24 hrs.
Part of it admittedly is that I want to completely break my "interest" in food, and be in control of it. After a hypothyroid episode that went away, my ability to easily shift any added body weight isn't the same as it was. Before that I could shift nearly a stone per week if I wanted, so I was pretty blase about food and eating lots of it. But something's changed even though the thyroid issue was only temporary, and it's harder to control and really difficult to shift any extra weight if it goes on. Habits need to change.
The other side of it is that on T, my willpower seems stronger. If I tell myself I'm not going to eat for a certain amount of time I can see it through. Before I was pretty much able to completely forget any promise to myself and head to the kitchen on autopilot to eat whatever I could find.
I heard about people saying they are more hungry on T. Maybe it has raised their metabolisms more then. Mine doesn't feel raised very much, my body weight isn't dropping on its own or anything eating the same as I used to. I think about food less though, not hungry as often. I'm glad that food feels more like a means to an end now rather than something to take pleasure in because I could totally get carried away with it. I was the kid who could and would eat an entire selection box in one sitting on Xmas if someone didn't stop me. That's how I know when they say too much chocolate "will make you sick" is a pack of lies. ;)
Comfort eating - eating from stress - used to do that but now I feel much less stressed so maybe something to do with it as well.
Don't think I could go back to 3 meals a day, I only need 750-800 cals max to maintain weight daily. I'm typically a 1 meal a day (or none) person.

Sometimes more, sometimes less. What I have found is that I can go longer without eating and feel okay. Pre-T it did not take long for me to get hangry and get a headache if I hadn't eaten regularly, but on T I can go most of the day without food and not have any negative effects.

Yeah, I feel like I can 1. go much longer without eating and 2. have better self-control to grab water instead of a snack between meals.
I find that my portion size has also shrunk considerably. So not only can I go longer in between meals without a snack but I also get fuller much sooner. It's really messing with my cooking. I've been cooking way bigger potions then I can eat now.
Also, when I do get hungry its less of a dire "feed me now" situation and more of a slight pang in my stomach. It almost feels like my desire to eat went from my brain to my stomach, where it rightfully should be.

I definitely need more food to sustain myself than before. That's partly because I have quite a lot more muscle mass (I'm also more lean, so it's mostly muscle weight). I have a lot more endurance and a higher need to be physically active, so that also adds to the amount of food I need, sometimes pretty significantly, depending on the day.

I've been on T a month and my diet is changing. I have started to eat something small in the morning, something in the middle of the day and dinner. I never used to eat throughout the day but I am now to ward off headaches but I have started to drink a lot more water, cut out sugar and have made smaller portions. It's all happening easier than it was before I was on T. I just don't want as much nor do I want the /bad/ things.

I think I eat about the same. I do try to eat every couple hours though; if I don't then I go on a rampage in the house eating everything I can find (if I'm hungry or not, its just been awhile since food has been in my mouth) if you know what I mean.

How long did it take for y'all to figure out your new eating style? I made myself way too many eggs again this morning. I also ate way too many taco's at dinner tonight. Beyond a few handfuls of popcorn throughout the day, those were my 2 meals and I am NOT complaining about hunger. This is the most bizarre aspect of my transition so far.

...explain to me how someone eats too many tacos. One can never have too many tacos.

hahaha believe me I did... I thought the batch of pork I made was going to last 3 days of meals. It's lasted me more like 5 and I will hopefully finish it off today...

Way more. Hell, I could eat all day. I also rarely feel full, especially if I'm eating meat.
My fiancée sort of pokes fun at me a bit for it when, a mere three hours after a meal, I'm on the hunt for sustenance all over again. To be fair, I do workout more now than I ever have in my life (5 days a week) so that could be part of it.
