I stopped wearing pantyhose and nylons because of the cost of replacement. I either go without or with leggings

It really depends on what I'm wearing.
Bare legs seem to be more in fashion than suntan hose these days. Of course it's nice to have something on your legs in the winter. But unless my outfit really calls for it, I  try stick to gray or black tights as they are heavier than hose and you can get a couple wears out of them without a run. I don't care for garter belts or elastic top thigh highs, but a big plus of stockings is if you rip one, you haven't ruined the whole thing like pantyhose.

Leggins are usually even heavier and the lined ones are great in the winter. They hold up a ton better than tights or hose and they come in all kinds of fun prints. You can dress them up with a nice top, but leggins tend to be more casual. The bare ankle look isn't my thing so unless I am coming or going to yoga, I usually wear leggins with socks and boots. It's still sort of a fashion no-no for people to be able to see the top of your butt, so most of the time I wear skinny jeans or jeggins so I don't have to be so careful when I bend over or sit.

it depends on my outfit. But I very rarely wear hose these days it's just way too hot where I live.  Leggings are what I wear most often with a tank top and flats. tights are okay if I want to wear a dress or skirt in winter time.

I am a pantyhose girl. Pantyhose was the first piece of female clothing I ever wore, I was 13 at the time and was my staple during my teens.. so it has wormed a very special place in my heart. I work in a retail office type environment so in the winter months I wear them pretty much everyday. In the summer months I am bare legged

outside of work, it depends on my outfit.

I go with bare legs until the temperature drops, then use leggings.  Tights occasionally; hose/nylons rarely.  Even when business attire is called for at work, I go with bare legs if at all possible.

Nylon stockings, with lace tops, seam down the back with suspender belt, every goddamn fabulous day lol!

For me it is tights, followed by leggings. Although i do own a few pairs of stockings that are meant to be gartered and thigh highs, i don't wear them a lot. I'm just not a fan of hose, which is interesting because they are not that different from tights. I tend to go bare legged as long as possible.

Another option I have discovered is very tall thigh high socks, often to be worn with boots.

Yikes!  7" heels would make me 6'1" ...still, they are pretty!

Since it's been cool and now cold, I've worn leggings nearly everyday except for maybe a 10 days total with today being one of them (skinny jeans that stretch like leggings, LOL.) I love wearing a tunic or sweater dress with leggings. Very comfortable, versatile, and age appropriate for me.

Makes me about 6'1" too, but people can tell I'm tall from wearing huge shoes lol. I live near a university and all the young women their seem to be about 6 foot anyway, so I don't stick out too much :) I wear flats or kitten heels most days though.

I also love sweater dresses with leggings.  My boss says they are great for the holidays because she can eat as much as she wants and they still fit. LOL 

I don't mind being tall with heels, I am just not used to it.  It is just a different perspective to be as tall as the guys in the office.  I look them eye to eye when I wear high heels.  I usually keep it between 2-3", though.  Not sure why, but they just suit me better.  During the summer it is flats and sandals --to the max.  My wife and I are shoe junkies.  We built a Shabinet -a shoe cabinet- for all of our shoes.  I am 5'6" and she is 5'9", so maybe that is why I use 2-3" heels...

Well, I love the feel of nylons.  In fact, I just updated my profile (my first profile on here BTW) with me in heels and nylons.  I did just get some leggings and tights so I guess it really depends on the look I am going for.

Now we are in summer here in Aus I just go bare legs and if I get lazy with shaving I will wear leggings like others I know...

Really depends what I'm wearing, leggings around the house during the day when doing my housework, when hubby takes me out at the weekend depending on what dress or outfit I'm wearing, it's nylon stockings or sheer tights, opaque tights in cold weather.

I have been wearing pantyhose daily for years.  Prior to that, it was stockings & garter belt.  I switched because the line of stockings I wore for several years was discontinued.  Also, most of my panties and garter belts were getting beat up, so I switched to pantyhose.  I still have a black garter belt and blank panties that I could wear with my black bra, should I decide to wear stockings again.

I have never worn leggings.  I just don't care for them.

I find bare legs to not be very attractive on most women. They just don't have nice enough skin.

I'm seeing more and more stockings these days.

Personally I like opaque tights or leggings. Or even fishnets.  [emoji1]

I've always loved the look of seamed stockings and garter belt and have worn them on occasion.

I think that's a very sad trend.  Legs look better in hose.  I hate to see a woman nicely dressed and made up, only to see all the flaws and blemishes in her legs.  Hosiery should be considered makeup for the legs, as it makes them look so much nicer.

Even though I'm a man, I wear pantyhose daily, including with shorts.

I like leggings / tights because nobody wants to see snow white knobby knees with contusions caused by being on blood thinners. Now if I could only find some for my arms. :laugh:  I'm tired of being asked if I'm British. :angel:

Hose ard garter belts from Secrets in Lace. I love them and so maybe its understandable if I flash a little more leg than necessary getting out of a car. Shameless I know, but the men are not  complaining. Google the site- and have your check book in hand.
