Is there any predictor of what you will look like as a man or woman after transitioning? I really want to be able to look pretty, hot, and feminine like some lucky trans* M2F have after transition, even if it takes a long time for results to happen. Is there any way to influence what you will look like?

Btw, I'm a guy right now, never did anything related to transitioning, but I don't look like the guy version of a stunning, beautiful woman, if you feel what I mean.

There are some 'guys' that transition into gorgeous female forms and you could tell beforehand that was going to be the case. On the other hand, there are even more bio-males that seem to look just like every other rugged dude, that change into amazing babes with the basics, hormones, hair removal, and hair and makeup and clothing choices. Others, choose surgery to help turn themselves into very good looking gals, too. I was NOT anybody that somebody would ever imagine as an attractive woman. When I came out, more than once a 'friend' or my ex-spouse, would warn me that I was gonna be one helluva ugly chick. Within a year of HRT, I was getting more male attention than my ex, and she had to eat her words. She eventually conceded I was beautiful, and cried her eyes out, lol.

If you are young, and healthy, chances are you will transform into a pretty girl, and there are options to deal with most 'male' features surgically, if genetics and hormones don't satisfy you. Transition is not an overnight thing. It takes time, and money, and patience, and work, and determination. There is no easy way, though some have better results earlier than others..

If I showed you a pic of me before transition, you would not believe that I started with that face and body. Heck, I have a hard time believing it, lol..

The reason to transition is usually not predicated on how good we might look, but how much better we will feel. Being authentic will always mean more to me than getting the eye from the guys, well, usually, ha ha ha!

I asked my doctor this very question when I was a teen and starting estrogen.  She told me that if you are attractive as a male you'll be attractive as a female and vice versa. 

I've been told that I have a handsome face, but I don't know whether that is glowing feedback or not, but coming from my regular counselor, she may be less biased than my own mom. I'm very skinny or scrawny though. No muscular definition at all.

And it is the reason I want to look pretty that I am cautious and skeptical of being trans or questioning gender.

You can't.

It's just too unpredictable. For example Zinnia Jones didn't change much, while Sona Averdian looks like a completely different person.

If this move is really what you want, you will be beautiful.
Beauty comes from the inside and leaks out.

Seems pretty random to me whether people transform a lot or just a little. But a lot depends on presentation, MTF have a lot more range to play with in terms of their presentation.  ;)

Yes.

Not only beauty, but gender, as well. After I moved away from my original transition location, I had to return to have my pre-surgical medical exam/clearance. While there, I took the opportunity to see my original prescriber, the one that saw me as 'dead name' and started me on my journey. When I walked in to the office, the nurses and staff were very excited to almost not recognize me. They were ecstatic, it showed in their eyes, and proud for me, as they say in the south.

When my old doctor walked into the exam room, he did a double take, and his usual flat demeanor broke, and he smiled from ear to ear. We had a wonderful chat while he examined me and wrote new scripts. He asked me about my life and I told him it was going very nicely, that I was passing everywhere, much to my surprise. He then said something that has always stuck with me. He said something like  "well, the physical changes are important about how you feel about yourself, but gender is an internal thing, and right now, your womanhood is popping out from everywhere". It was then that I realized that passing was a misnomer, and that he was right, I am seen as female because I am female, not because of the new form, not really. I am happy that I look on the outside as I do now, which is far more female than I did even then, but even happier to have no misgivings about my gender, and that is what disarms the people in real life that may look at this feature, or that, and wonder about my biological history. For most people, most of the time, if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it must be a duck..

This, right here:    Vitrual facial feminization.  http://www.virtualffs.co.uk/ (http://www.virtualffs.co.uk/)  You send them a photo, and they do some photoshop or whatever to show you what you will look like as a woman.

I must say sister, even after all these years you have gone trough it is nice to see you living as the authentic you. The you that always should have been. And a good looking happy old lady at that :)!

Actually it is pretty simple

1) Get a wig that works for you
2) Get really good at makeup... as in little to none
3) Learn what styles work for you between age and physical characteristics
4) Look in a mirror and be totally completely and honestly realistic about what may be possible between the magic of HRT (YMMV and forget Youtube videos) and your budget
