Hi ya'll. I'm in Pocomoke City Maryland. I'm trying to find a trans friendly doctor. I just ran out of my hormones 2 weeks ago, just moved here to Maryland a month and a half ago, already switch to maryland health insurance. I need a nearby doctor that accepts medicaid and wont give me any run around. I need my hrt now, i'm starting to break out on my back from coming off my hormones, and i started to get morning wood this morning, which hasnt happened to me in months. Please recommend someone asap. Please help

I don't know if they accept Medicaid, but it might be worth calling and asking. This group looks to work quite a bit with trans people. They look to be in MD too.

No chance. They are not trained to administer HRT and HRT isn't considered an emergency condition. Try googling "city name LGBT" and see if there is a center near you. Often they will know of doctors in the area for most any transition related need. If you are pre surgical it may even be more difficult unless you can locate and informed consent clinic.

Whitman Walker Clinic in Washington, DC is another option. Unfortunately from where you are Washington, DC is still quite a drive. I would also know a doctor in Fairfax, VA but that is even further.

Might as well keep self prescripticating and get my surgery done by a cutter. That or maybe i could just end it all
