Part of what being 'other' is that you get allot of crap for being so.
Maybe your girlfriend has trouble understanding your genitals; maybe your boyfriend has a problem with not being able to get you pregnant...
I'm not here to diagnose, and granted we are not a large group, but, it is true that some people are born with alternative sex organs and alternative mechanism for being.
We all know the stories of how others treat us badly, how one can get caught in a trap of unwilling participation, what I want to know is:
What makes you know that is not the way it works?
For me it is the ability of recognizing alternate methods, the fact that we are cognizant of the method in which both genetics and environment can change how we are.
It may be postulated that in the near future environmental factors will trigger something in my DNA, it may not.
It is most certain, as confirmed by a method of many other sexually reproductive organisms, and given in time that we have been empirically evidenced to have done so before, our way of reproduction is not yet able to be categorized. Evolution is not done with us.
Will some have Ovaries to produce an egg? Will some have Testes to produce sperm? Maybe there are those few who could produce both, at once or sequential, or, none at all? Maybe it will be only how we enervate each other.
Time will tell, and no matter the time taken, the effort of eugenics only serves to reset the ability.
The fact that we exist only serves to prove that.
Well, anyway, you get the idea.
