Title: Nipple Enquiry
Post by: Helios on February 25, 2017, 12:43:17 AM
Hi,
i'm new here at this forum and I've a doubt.

Ok I've started spiro a month earlier and began progynova  20 days earlier.
My frame is Small-Medium with a BMI of 22.  I'm also 22 years old.

So my question is after starting estro for a week my nipples are withdrawing inside. My areola is slightly projected. It feels hard around the area and hurts me if i press it or run.

The question is even way before starting HRT my nipples rarely come outside. They are like hermits. You have to stimulate them for them to come outside. After starting HRT they still doesn't get elevated. I want to know if this is common or is there something wrong with me.

My nipples when erected are extremely sensitive if you touch it. Somehow fatty tissur under the breasts are growing without any development to the nipples.

Hi Helios and Welcome to Susan's

I think what you are describing is perfectly normal breast development. Nipples, like every thing else vary from person to person!

My nipples are more like inverted nipples and only come out if i stimulate my body. Is this a normal breast development stage?

It is not abnormal by any means. I have had cisgirl friends with similar nipples.

Hi Helios,

I am Jeanette and want to welcome to the site too. The tenderness and swelling are both normal signs of developing breast. I'm not a doctor but I am sure there are all differenr "normal" kinds of nipples out there. The fact that your sound like inverted nipples does not mean you are not normal. My mother had inverted nipples and the only issue they created for her was that she was not able to breast her 6 kids. (yes, I was a deprived baby)
You could probably easily find out about nipples online or possibly by asking a doctor.

  Hugs,
    Jeanette

Thank you for the answers. I feel better knowing although they are not common there is nothing to worry about.
