Friday will be 4 weeks I have been on HRT and I have been experiencing pain in the groin area, in my testicles to be exact. Has anyone else had this happen? Should I be concerned?

Yes! Particularly on one side. I've been concerned about this but haven't found an answer yet.

Okay, I was concerned but it's just a tenderness. This did happen to me about 2 years ago, doc did an MRI and nothing showed up. I did have a Vasectomy in '87 (God I feel old), I am wondering if any shrinkage is causing the pain.

I found another thread and I guess it's quite common during the shrinking phase. Sounds like it should stop hurting after that. Mine's subsided.

I am 3 months into HRT am thankfully I have not had this issue. Possibly because I have not seen any shrinking of the orbs as yet. What I have seen is a tightening up of the scrotum helping to hold them orbs high up enough to almost hide them and a tendency for my former joystick to retreat and hide most of the time. Dang thing is afraid I'll cut it off I think. lol

I think that might be it from what I've read. I think once they stabilize at their new size, they'll be happy:)

Same thing happens on T. They shrink and ache.
