Title: Bummed today.
Post by: Krystina52 on March 13, 2017, 10:48:55 AM
We had a death in the family, someone very close to me and of course I have not come out to anyone but my immediate family, which means I must attend this wake and funeral as the other person. The one I am striving to rid myself of.
This really has me upset, I just want to get dressed and go as Krystina, but I cannot. I guess I need to start telling more of my relatives about who I truly am. Just bummed I guess. :(

I'm sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss Kristina.  Sorry I have no help for your other problem. I could say you could look at it as an opportunity to come out to more of the family but that would likely bed bad advice and horrible timing. You could also take heart in that it may be your last time having to face your family as  your male counterpart.

  Hugs and condolences,
   Jeanette

As trans women we have mostly all the same tribulations as cis women with the exception of this little beauty...when you are feeling at your absolute crappiest, the one time when you really need to feel centered and you can't, so on top of grief we have to deal with the awful anxiety when we cannot be ourselves at times of great stress.

My heart goes out to you and I hope things get better for you
