Erm, well. It took me a few months to see the female, maybe 3ish? You wil still during that time need to put an effort (unless you are super lucky and gifted) to pass if you wish to pass. As for touching yourself, erm.. whatever floats your boat!

So you started your HRT!! How Exciting! your journey begins! I've been doing the pills myself for both estradiol and spironolactone. I don't think the VA will do injections. Giving myself shots wouldn't be a problem as I already give myself shots twice a day. Insulin don'tchaknow?

When will you see something? Well everyone is different and the method may affect it also but most say a feeling of relief or well being starts pretty quickly and dysphoria lessens. Physically your nipples will likely become tender around the 3 -6 week mark with small lumps forming under then a short time after. What and when things happen to you no one can tell you but you will know when they do. Patience if the key nothing happens overnight.

  It may go into hiding like mine has, but that took a bit longer. I thought it so novel I posted a thread about how my orbs and stick have pulled up as if trying to hide. I think I quipped that they probably thought someone may try to cut them off. Things have gotten to the point I sometimes need to coax it out to pee.  ;D

To be blunt, I plan on touching myself frequently while on HRT, even if the desire isn't there... Gotta keep that donor material healthy :p

I hate my penis so I avoid that area. Still, if one likes to ''do the deed'' then why not?. Just because i dont like the penis doesnt mean i dont like orgasms ;)

HRT usually takes a few months to show much in the way  of results. However, every person's experience is different.
