Title: Mood swing during the day
Post by: Johanna M on March 26, 2017, 05:52:28 AM
After nearly 40 years i finally came to the point that my only option was to become the woman i always been.
In Januari i met a GT and after a couple of meetings she has refered to an endochronologist.
I have started treatment with spiro, finasterid and Divigel and take my drugs two times daily.

My problem is that i experience mood swings and anxeity starting 8-10 hours after my last dose. I feel really low and vulnerable. It fades away whitin one hour after taking my meds again. If i have forgotten to take the meds my symtoms fade away much slower. Before HRT i had no such symtoms.

Any suggestions

Forgive me my poor english language skills(Swedish as native language)

Hi Johanna M

Welcome and I hope you enjoy your time here at Susan's.

What you describe sounds familiar when my dosage has dropped in my implant...in fact I also take small oral dose which I had messed up which I think is in part the reason why I am feeling so crappy today. I would certainly be talking to my Dr about how this is making you feel..

Regards

Liz

It seems as though the Divigel is running low prematurely and this could be due to the fact that you are very active, metabolize hormones fast, perhaps fail to apply gel correctly, etc. Best to talk to your doctor about this. I just started Estrogel myself but I am also on injections at the moment. I apply the gel twice daily, like you and I may have experienced this once, on a day when I was particularly active but it may also have been due to something else, who knows?

How do you feel being on Estrogel?
I found it really annoying.

I actually like Estrogel a lot. I enjoy applying it and seeing the positive results (breast growth, feeling good) I'm having from it. :) I also apply another gel containing testosterone (I'm post-op) and I like it too. Feeling a little stronger and skin looks better.
